Aunt Jenny's Country Buffet — Restaurant in Lucedale

My wife and I have been here twice. Both times the food was fresh and hot. The last time we went I had the fried chicken, green beans and cabbage. My wife had the baked chicken and green beans and some other vegetables. The fried chicken was well cooked and had a tasty crust. The cabbage was ok but the green beans were excellent. My wife said she had been wanting to taste some good green beans because her recent servings of green beans elsewhere had not been good. She said these beans hit the right spot for taste. We are from Mobile so we are only able eat here once in a while but it is well worth the visit. If you are planning on eating here be aware that they serve lunch only. 4-17-23: Two of my kids and I went in for lunch. Their food was sub-par at best. And that's being generous. It definitely is not worth the price they charge. The best thing about the place was the great server. She was fast and friendly. Kept our drinks filled and plates cleared. And asked if we wanted to go cups. Have always had to ask for those. I love this place. Always such good food and cheap price for a buffet restaurant. The people who work there are all so kind and helpful and very friendly. When my aunt cindy passed away from her battle with breast cancer, the people here enjoyed her visits and business with them that she was basically family with everyone here, they catered all the food for the after services of her funeral for our entire family and they did it all with absolutely no charges. That's good hearted and such a blessing from them.
