Visited after a long hot hike at Devou Park. This place was super close and pics looked nice so thought we’d give it a try. We were there on a Saturday evening and easily found parking and a “seat yourself” table. I think this was the first issue. You are left feeling unwelcomed and unnoticed. It’s a large crowded restaurant and they did not seem to have a system for servers to acknowledge your arrival. We were quite thirsty and all I really wanted was a local draft beer. This was the second issue- no draft beer and no glass cups you either drink out of the can or bottle or out of a plastic cup. The beer selection was not great. I think I maybe only saw Rheingeist truth on the list. Everything else was your basic Blue moon, Stella, Miller lite etc.. after waiting a while with no acknowledgment of our arrival we went up to the bar and ordered drinks there. Then we discovered they don’t take credit cards. Fortunately we had some cash on us, but that is not always the case… the food was basic serve-to-the-masses type food but it arrived rather quickly so at that point, we didn’t really care. The setting is lovely. The outdoor dining experience is very nice. We had a table right on the river and enjoyed the sunset. I probably would not go back here. Only would consider if we had out of town friends and wanted to go someplace unique, but I must say when I discovered they did not have draft beer we...

Me and my friends came here on a Sunday shortly after they opened, we sat at the bar and ordered drinks. We asked to start a tab and they said we don’t start tabs or take card (or high was fine) we ordered food and proceeded to wait 70 minutes. It is a few days after they re opened so it’s understanding, it’s crowded. After an hour we asked where our food was expected to come out and she gave off an answer that indicated she forgot to put it in. (Again, it’s okay, mistakes happen) 10 minutes later we had 3 seperate people bring us our order which we declined since we already had what we ordered. We then cashed out and got a check and it had drinks on there we didn’t order. We asked the waitress to please take off the drinks we didn’t order and she said yes of course. She then walked over to her coworker worker and said “these people are trying to say they didn’t order these drinks when I know they did”. She saw us watch her say that then walked over and gave us our fixed checked which was correct. We still tipped 25% and we will never be back. The bartenders are horrendous and they should restart AGAIN. I hope other people have a...

I have been coming to the Ludlow Bromley yacht club since the 70's. It sufferd a major catastrophy 6 years ago when a barge ran into it. One Memorial day 2025 it reopened. I was very happy to hear it. So we went to check it out. The main bar area barge was redone very nicely and was busy. We sat outside by the river to enjoy the nice sunny day. I was not impressed with our server. The first time we saw her was 10 minutes after we sat. The place was not busy. and the other servers were taking care of their custmers. Ours took our order which was then brought out by someone else. We didn't see her again until some time after finishing. The lunch menu is limited. The friers were not operable so fries, onion rings, etc were not available. The substitute they brought was a lunch pack size bag of chips. The coca colas we ordered were about six ounces each for which we never got a refill. The price for this was quite high. I understand the trauma the place went thru. Reopening for Memorial Day was a challenge I am sure. I am hoping that the Ludlow Bromley Yacht club can return to five star...

Just a quick visit to Ludlow to check out the vibe. We found very few restaurants in town so we decided to head to the yacht club to enjoy the fresh air and grab lunch. The place was clean and had tons of tables. It's seat yourself, so we waited maybe 10 minutes before a waitress came to our table. She was super friendly and helpful even though it was a busy Labor Day weekend. The wait for food was fairly long, maybe 20 minutes, and they did mess up our order in several ways... shrimp tacos became fish tacos, BLT became a club sandwich. Not that big of a deal, we ate them anyway but I think that would be an issue for some people. Probably because they were busy. The rest rooms are located in a parked boat and a dude must have been either too drunk or missed the Women sign because as I came out of my stall this guy was just peeing in a stall with the door fully open. Dude. He was completely oblivious. Good times.

This place is down on the river in Bromley, KY. It's a pretty cool place with a great atmosphere. You can either sit inside or out. It's cool to see the boats going up and down the river. They even have a band on the weekend. Good food, reasonably priced. I'm glad they're back open after being closed from a barge hitting them a few years back. They are only accepting cash at the moment but do have an ATM on site. They have only been back open since 5/26/25. Things will continue to get better as they are trying to get back up and running in full swing like they used to be. Be patient they were very busy today during our visit. The only reason for less than 5 stars is the inconvenience of not accepting credit cards, not having their full usual menu, and all seats were full and had to wait a bit.

This place is an awesome very unique place located right on the river they have good food my only gripe is the side dishes are pretty high compared to the other items and other places as well as it is not handicap accessible nor are the restrooms handicap accessible. The men's restrooms have a constant water running wasting lots of water a key element that this place relies on water. I still recommend this place but I wish they could get a couple regular less wasteful urinals maybe a motion activated sensor to turn on the water.
