Subway — Restaurant in Lumberton

Nice place most of the time. This visit was not so much. I like to enjoy one of their special non-carbonated drinks. Today one of the dispensers for that particular drink was very low. I purchased a large beverage cup thinking I might get just enough to fill my cup. Well it filled less than halfway. I asked if the dispenser could be refilled I was advised by an employee "the dispensers are only filled in the morning. So I asked if this was a Subway rule or just a store policy and the employee said the manager is the only one that fills it in the morning. So then I asked the employee if she knew how to refill it and she said she did but would not do it because she did not want make her manager made and lose her job. Well I have enjoyed my last beverage at that store because one, the policy makes no sense and two, I don't like doing business as a"valued" customer only to find out the managers and employees have even greater value. Unfortunately they forgot that customers are what makes the managers exist as well as employees. This wasa definite customer...

This subway had a more modern style decor (futuristic) than I'm used to seeing. The bathrooms (man & woman) were not the worst we've seen regarding cleanliness. However, esthetically speaking, they were beat up looking. The sandwich artists did wonderfully with our order, and all the ingredients looked & tasted fresh. The dining area was medium-sized with plenty of seating. Aside from a bit of trash on the floor, everything else was clean looking. Also, it was more of a personal preference, but we did not like the choice of music playing in the lobby. This caused us to cut our dining experience short.

This Subway is horrible... I used to think it was the best one in town until my kids started working there and the owner Edward started mistreating my children. He would cuss at them in front of customers.
