The food is decent. Went there for lunch today. They told me 10 minutes it would be ready and it was ready when I arrived (5-ish minutes later), however the food is cold (5-ish minutes later). My main problem with this place are the inconsistencies. I'll order something from the menu and sometimes it'll come with rice sometimes it won't and often times what is on the menu as part of a meal is missing from my order once I get home (to-go order). Prices vary. I ordered 1 cheese enchilada + beans & rice today as well as 3 cheese enchiladas and it cost me $19. I have ordered the cheese enchilada + rice & beans and it has never been over $8. So 3 small cheese enchiladas is $12? Things just don't add up. Glad to have a Mexican restaurant in town I just wish they were more consistent and the food wasn't cold. Probably won't eat here for quite a while after this. If you're from out of town I suggest waiting until Brandon, SD for El Tapatio or even better Guadalajaras in Sioux Falls, SD. I don't have any suggestions for the other directions. You may get Los Bravos restaurant on a good day, but I have had way more negative experiences here...
Read moreBeing Mexican and feeling under the weather I ordered a caldo de pollo. Since when does caldo de pollo taste like juice from fideo and slices of chicken breast. Horrible. Then I call and ask about the sopa and the person who answered was rude and luckily I know Spanish. This was literally a disgrace to the Mexican race who wants to eat food that's not authentic. There's no point in that restaurant being there. Never again would I waste my money there. Had I been feeling good I would cook myself but I feel terrible. This soup tasted like they heated up some fideo broth inside the foam container and they threw slices of hard chicken breast. Lousy business and the Owner should be ashamed serving this to his customer and false advertising. Being that caldo de pollo is made a certain way. Also the tortillas are obviously store bought once again no authenticity. Good luck when your business goes out because that was not cool. Not that I wish that on your business but you need to be a...
Read moreWe went a couple days ago in restaurant with my husband and two children. 3 families that arrived after us both got food, paid, and left before we even got our order, 2 of which had their food before we were even able to order. Our food was not very flavorful for the adults or right for that matter, and the 2.5 year old who eats almost any taco said it was not good. We thought maybe it was just a rough night and since just opening we’d try and give them another chance! This time we did take out. Our entire order was wrong, and missing parts of the order. The staff is nice, just not enough help. I also could be wrong, and not trying to be offensive in any way, but there did feel like the was a language barrier. Not sure if that’s why our orders were wrong or if they are just still trying to figure out the menu. Unfortunately it will be a while...
