We went to Maggie’s Cafe on 4/19/25. We arrived at 8am and the cafe opens at 7am. We were the first customers in the restaurant. Our waitress Kyliegh( not sure on the spelling) helped us and was very kind. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. We got our food one at a time. I got my food first then another person in my party of 4 received theirs 5 minutes later and then 5 minutes later another person in my party got their food and then another 5 minutes later the last person of my party got their food. The food was gross, burnt, and cold. While we waited for our food a young couple with a baby came in and got their food before we did. Mind you we were there at least 10 minutes before they arrived. This young couple were done eating and gone before we all had our food. Then several other people arrived all while we were still waiting for our food. A gentleman walked by our table complaining that this is not the place to eat if we are not willing to wait a long time to eat. Also watched this older gentleman walk around in the kitchen complaining on how he wanted his breakfast. Come to find out later that this older gentleman is the owner. The owner yelled across the restaurant saying he wanted his sausage. He too got his food before we did. After the owner was finished eating his food, we watched him wondering in the kitchen again and was licking his fingers and touching other customers plates of food. Then watched him scratch his head over customers food. We DO NOT recommend this place. We tried to put a comment on YELP and have found out that the owner has removed our comments. That is to be super sketchy thing to do as well. We watched several people walk out once we complained and other customers were informed of the owner scratching his head over...
Read moreSo the inside of this place is decorated with old signs and nice new TVs on the wall you can see from every direction. Antique fuel pumps and real Americana muscle kind of atmosphere. The burgers from what I could tell were hand patted and they did not skimp on the weight of meat. Fries were cooked to perfection and I even ate the coleslaw which I never eat coleslaw. To give an accurate review I figured I would have to try it and wind up eating whole thing. After our burgers we got ice cream which they had two big coolers with probably 16 different ice creams. And this place is a clean brand new restaurant so cool signs and good ice cream really put a good impression on me. I live closer. I see the parking lot getting more and more full every daywhich bothers me because this hole in the wall is becoming my everyday lunch spot and I don’t know how they’re going to fit all the new customers they’re...
Read moreThis is a quaint, southern style Cafe with a hot rod/ vintage motif. The staff are amazing, friendly and attentive. They serve breakfast (they were out of eggs due to the shortages right now but i wouldve tried breakfast food) and lunch. I ended up going with grilled chicken, coleslaw, green beans, and fried okra. The chicken was exceptional! The perfect mix between juicy and cooked that I've had in the upstate. The green beans are more of an "old cook" style with a bit of sugar in them and pieces of bacon. The fried okra was a normal fried okra (nothing bad about that but about the same that you'd get anywhere else). The coleslaw was on the drier side so I didn't prefer it but I'm picky about coleslaw anyways. All in all this is an amazing little place to grab lunch and I can't wait to...
