Trade Winds Subs & Deli — Restaurant in Lynchburg

Got a meatball sub awhile back. Says "homemade", frozen meatballs and not very good. Not for 8 dollars! So i decided to give it another try today. Got the turkey with "homemade" stuffing and cranberry sauce. On menu it was under subs but when i opened it back at work it was wrapped in a tortilla . Turkey was sliced sandwich meat which would have been ok but it was a nasty cheap kind compressed with water fillers. The stuffing was not home made it looked and tasted like stovetop. It was really disgusting. Plus it was heated up which made the cheap turkey smell and taste even worse! I'm not a picky eater guys, if somethings not the best its usually good enough to deal with it and eat it. I couldn't this sandwhich, i took one bite and after examining it through in trash! 8 dollars right in the trash! Ive heard reviews saying how awesome this place is. Please let me know what you got! I've been eating here for years. It's in a strip mall on Langhorne Rd and it's easy to miss but worth finding. Barbara is the owner and she does it all so she doesn't have time to fool around. She treats everyone like family in a busy kitchen with a greeting of come in, grab a seat, what do you want to drink? The food is fresh and delicious. I've had a lot of different things and I've never been disappointed. I love the Smoked Turkey and Havarti cheese sandwich, The Thanksgiving Wrap, and the Chili. Barbara created some delicious deli trays of ham, turkey, her famous chicken salad, special breads, lettuce, tomato, homemade potato salad, macaroni salad and a large tray of her famous made-from-scratch chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies. The food was fresh, beautifully presented and fed our large family for a celebration of life in honor of our dear Mother.
