Country Pride — Restaurant in Lyndon

I know you're going to delete this review let me tell you the experience I had on August 2 nd in the restaurant I went in I sat down I waited a few minutes and there was only like four people in the restaurant took a few minutes to get my iced tea then when the waitress returned I placed my order for chicken fried steak mashed potatoes and gravy and a side salad 52 minutes later I received it The salad was okay The mashed potatoes were cool The chicken fried steak was burnt and cool to the touch along with the gravy I was informed sorry but we have new people here and the new manager is cooking well then I asked if I could get the chicken fried steak replaced or you know something else and the waitress looks at me and goes do you want another chicken fried steak to go like I was being asked to leave and this was 3 hours before closing time and I just said fine no bring me the check for what I ate which I owed only ate the mashed potatoes and gravy the side salad and drink iced tea they brought me the check for the full amount then they took it back and gave me a senior citizen discount I personally feel that this is the worst experience I've ever had because I've eaten here before and it was great The waitresses were great but what has happened this place has gone downhill so far I will never fuel here I will never do nothing but park at this place again and I hope you all read this to the end and agree with me that us truck drivers are getting taken advantage of enough that we should not have to put up with this when we go to...

I ordered the orange chicken meal, along with the cheese planks for my meal. The waitress was nice but, when she served my cheese planks; they were dark brown like they were over cooked as much as it could be. Then she served my orange chicken plate, and it was so over cooked until it was truly disrespectfully done. I told her that I could not eat this food, and I got up and walked out with my pride. Now what made this incident bad for me was, I had driven all day and I had only a bag of chips; because I have a very busy day. After everything we " truck drivers " , go through; at least we deserve some respect for our services that we provide to these communities. If we stop working, the world is immediately effected by nothing being delivered. Don't serve anything to anyone, that you would not want to put into your own mouth!!! Worst experience ever! Stopped in for a quick bite to eat on our way back home. Waited half an hour to be greeted and get menus, another half hour for them to get our order and an hour waiting our food. When it arrived it was cold and gross. The server was MIA the whole time. I had to go up to them talking by the window to get boxes and pay for our food. Had my husband and two daughters with me. Three people who came in after us got their food and was able to eat, pay, and leave before our waitress decided to show up to take our order. I am not happy with this place at all. My daughter order a peanut butter and jelly sandwich the bread was hard my other daughter ordered spaghetti it was cold, my husband had a salad and a burger I had a salad and goulash.
