Hoagie's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Lyndon

4.5 stars. We had the Heartburner sub with all the fixings and poutine. The sub was so so good. The deli meat was fresh and thin sliced like I prefer, veggies were fresh and crisp, hots were delicious. Hands down, best sandwich I’ve had when taking a chance on a small town roadside restaurant.

The poutine was good, maybe a little salty and the curds weren’t as squeaky as I’d have liked. But the portion was good, the balance of fries, gravy, and curds was perfect. Sharing the sub and poutine was just the right amount of food for two of us.

Beer choices were good, though I noticed there were no NH options 😂 The place was clean, though maybe in need of some touch up paint. Restroom was clean. Staff were super nice and helpful to us out-of-towners.

If I’m ever this way again, I’ll make a point to stop in again for the Heartburner sub, I enjoyed...

We ordered five different meals. One was right. I even had her read it back to me.Not the first time but definitely the last! Calling to report mess ups is something I have done numerous times in the past. Eventually I just take it for what it is and tell myself it was my own fault for going back! As I said it wasn’t the first time but it will be the last. Ordering food out is expensive. One mess up happens but the entire order?? Nothing was missing it just wasn’t right as in two wrong meals, two pathetic looking meals and one done right. With that said I have ordered numerous times and eaten inside never a problem. Went to Hoagies tonight for the first time in awhile. My waitress Lizzy B was awesome, so that was the highlight of the meal. The sandwiches my party had were tasty, yet lacking the amount of meat they had in the past. The reason for two stars is because of the service charge imposed because of using a credit card or debit card. (I used credit.) Apparently, now there is a 3% service charge when using a debit or credit card at this restaurant. If costs are going up, just increase the costs of your food and or drinks, don’t impose an additional charge on a customer because they are using a card.
