Buck's Pit Stop — Restaurant in Lyons Township

I LOVE THIS PLACE EXCEPT FOR ON A SATURDAY ,WHEN DAWN IS WORKING, SHE HAS TO BE THE RUDEST RUDEST RUDEST EMPLOYEE THAT EVER WORKED THERE. WE GO IN BUCS ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY. WE ASKED DAWN WHAT WAS THE SPECIAL WAS AND SHE SAID. SHE DON'T KNOW OR CARE BECAUSE SHE ONLY WORKS TILL 5PM ..SO I ASKED FOR MY DRINK SHE SAID "GO IT" WELL AGAIN "GOT IT WRONG" AGAIN, FOOD ORDER DAWN SAID "GOT IT" YEAP AGAIN "GOT IT WRONG" EVERY TIME WE GO IN THERE SHE" GO IT" WRONG..SO ME AND OUR FRIENDS HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER RESTAURANT . AND THE WORKERS WERE GLAD TO SEE US, TREATED US FANTASTIC..THEY LOVED TO SEE US WERE NOT RUDE, THERE PERSONALITY WAS FANTASTIC. THEY LOVED THEIR WORK, THEY "GOT IT" EVERYTHING WAS CORRECT AND RIGHT. YES WE SPENT 400$TO 500$ ON EATING DRINKS AND VIDEO GAMES.. IN THIS TIME WHERE PEOPLE CAN'T AFFORD TO GO OUT AND EAT, WE THOUGH WE WOULD GO TO BUCS ENJOY A NICE DINNER WITH FRIENDS, NOPE BUT DAWN PUSHED US AWAY WITH HER UNCARING RUDE SELF , UNCARING ABOUT THE BUSINESS AND IN TIMES LIKE THESE ARE . MAYBE $500.00 IS NOT A LOT OF MONEY TO SPEND...BUT WE ALL HAVE 2 TO 3 JOBS AND HAVE A BUDGET.. WHICH EVERYONE HAS TO BE SICK OF HEARING ABOUT.. FROM DAWN,SO WHEN WE GO BACK WE NEED TO GO TO THE EMPLOYEES THAT LOVES THERE JOBS AND CARES FOR THE BUSINESS ARE HAPPY TO WORK THERE...THERE ARE SO MANY HAPPY PEOPLE THAT ARE LOOKING FOR JOBS AND WOULD BE GLAD TO HELP OUT THE RESTAURANT . AND NOT SEND PEOPLE AWAY...I KNOW SHE WAS TALKED TO ABOUT THIS OVER AND OVER AGAIN.. AND THE POOR OTHER WORKED THAT WORKS THERE JUST APOLOGIZED FOR DAWN, BECAUSE THE OTHER WORKER IS THE ONE WHO LOST OUR BUSINESS BECAUSE SHE WAS WORKING IN THE DINNING ROOM SO SHE WOULD OF MADE THE FANTASTIC TIP..EATING AND DRINKING.. SO SAD DAWN LOST THE OTHER WORKER MONEY....AGAIN NOT CARING FOR...

Went for my father's birthday with our family of 7 people. This was the first time out here as my dad heard about this place through a friend. Was expecting a brighter diner atmosphere adorned with racing memorabilia. While the food was pretty good, I have to say I'm so very disappointed with the service.

Our waitress made some simple mistakes, wrong drinks, flip flopped orders at the table, and got a few things wrong. Nevertheless, we finished our meal and upon giving back the check watched the waitress make a face of absolute disgust!

My mother went after her and worried we had done something wrong. She approached her and the waitress straight up said "I did a great job and deserved more than 10% gratuity". The meal was about 94 dollars before tax. My mom, feeling embarrassed, asked what she felt would be a good tip? She then offered a near 30% gratuity tip instead in which the waitress replied "I guess that's fine". She then went off about how this is her life and lively hood. Newsflash, we are all struggling, blue collar families can barely eat out comfortably. Now we have to worry that our tips, which are optional, are not good enough, especially for subpar service.

I understand being unhappy with your current monetary situation, but this display of animosity was completely uncalled for. Here's an added tip, the room looks like a post funeral service eatery. Doesn't match the whole nascar thing IMO

We love this place..But not when Dawn is working..She is very very very Rude..Asked what the dinner special was and for someone that worked there for years says..She don't know or care because She works till 5pm.So don't care... Really...so we took all 5 of us which were gonna have Prime Rib drinks some where else..where the workers loved their job...they were not rude..bossy.and vert Professional and treated us fantastic.We will be back but not when Dawn is their.I know she was talked to about her rudeness almost bullying..and I guess Dawn just tells people she has 3 jobs .who cares ..we all have jobs ..But at least we love the company we work for..Not losing customers in this very difficult time where Buks and other business need their constumers...Ask the customers there how Rude Dawn is. Oh that's probably why there were on 3 people on...
