Granny's Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Lyons Township

I’m sitting here at this dump which I called several times to place an order over the phone. I walk in and both the ladies are staring at each other going back & forth about who would take my order. Customer service here a HORRIBLE! If you don’t want people of color in your establishment just say so. The first time I came I dined in and it took forever to get waited on. I ordered the same thing and the ignorant waitress had a whole fit because I didn’t want fried eggs and I wanted a biscuit instead of toast. The food was just alright..no flavor for biscuits and gravy (the guests next to us felt the same as they had a full order left on their plates as well), the skillet I ordered wasnt seasoned well, and the service was subpar. I had to ask for a server in a place that was not crowded at all. Maybe it's because I went in at 1259pm and they close at 2pm...maybe it was just those 2 waitresses... but I'm used to getting greeted with a smile and served as if I mattered, I didnt get that here. Hash browns was like fried mashed potatoes, sausage gravy and biscuits, gravy like paste and couldn’t taste sausage it is very little, the biscuits was not done inside and cold. Had to ask for straws, and spoon to stir coffee along with a fork to eat with . Cold piece of sliced cheese thru on the husband omelet.From Ky , guess granny was on vacation.
