Came here yesterday on my long drive across the country. I’ll start with the pros- the food is good. And the Polish plate was massive for the price. The pierogi are tasty and even come with bacon bits. The Highlander soup is amazing. I was given a little box with 2 full ribs inside (to put into the soup). I was very impressed by this for only $5.50. Goulash soup was ok but the meat was really fatty. Now for the cons. No one was wearing a mask. Not a single worker. Not sure what the current mandates are in metro Chicago but I was shocked that even a cook making my food wasn’t wearing one. Had I known this before coming in I wouldn’t have came. Second, there was a big Polish wedding happening as I came to pick up my food. (Once again, not a single mask). I had to walk through all these guests just to get to the front door. Kind of an awkward setup for everyone involved. I called the lady who took my order and explained I was outside the door but didn’t feel right coming in and barging in on this fancy wedding. She complained she doesn’t have time to come out to me. Really rude attitude and I was literally at the door. I’m Polish and I understand that we often just come off rude without meaning to culturally, but for her to complain to a customer about walking over to them when they have every right to not want to walk in on a wedding nor be further potentially exposed was really wrong. Also as a heads up, the stuffed cabbage is with a creamy mushroom sauce, not the red tomato sauce you might be used to. I don’t regret coming here on my way home, but I will never come here again.

My husband and I love Polish food and have been to Poland a few times. The food here is as authentic as you can get. Tasting the food took us back to Poland. We had the tripe soup, BBQ ribs, meat and cheese & potato pierogies, Polish sausage and the potato pancakes. Everything was delicious!! We used to go to Poland once a year before Covid. So if you are craving some good ole Polish food, you must visit this restaurant to satiate your cravings!

Food was amazing! The portion was large, I had to turn down a take out box as I am traveling but it certainly made me sad to leave the leftovers behind. Very good value- had a entree, the breaded chicken and a glass of wine. The waitress was lovely, I came in early evening and it was quiet, likely before the dinner rush. Food tasted European which I say as a very high compliment- fresh and real cooking. Highly recommend

Walked into the place with Girlfriend. First thing we noticed is a huge pile of Styrofoam containers left out on a table that you would give someone for leftover food. It was extremely tacky looking like someone left some trash on a table. We were never greeted by anyone for about 2 minutes of standing there looking out of place. No signs that say anything about being seated or seat yourself. We noticed there were other people there who were not speaking English looking at us like we were alien life form. After we sat down, we were there for literally 3 or 4 minutes and still never daw one single wait staff, not even for the other table. We got up, put on our coats and left, still no sign of wait staff. A month later we had a taste for polish food again. The girlfriend and I decided to give this place another chance as it's close to Darien. Wouldn't you know, almost same exact scenario. We walk in and immediately felt like it was a bad idea. No wait staff or hostess to greet us whatsoever. Not sure if it was a private party, not sure if they were closed, no idea. We also noticed the same Styrofoam pile of containers was still piled up on the same table in the same place looking like someone dumped garbage on the table. Unbelievably classless. My girlfriend wanted to leave immediately but I said we would try it out. So we pick a table near the window and had a seat, keep in mind never once noticed any wait staff. For a second, we may have noticed a waitress bring eater to another table but never once acknowledged we were there by giving us a menu. We waited about 3 or 4 minutes and got up and left. We never made contact with anyone there. Extremely unprofessional and we wondered if this lack of care for customers was reflected in the care for customers food. We found a restaurant in chicago on archer called Orion where we were greeted properly and had an amazing dinner with a...

Just love this hidden gem! Everytime we go the room is only half full but it should always be packed! The food is amazing and generous portions, the dinners come with a full spread, soup/ salad, entree and relishes and the drinks are fresh and good grade liquors. But going back to the food, my goodness they make everything delicious!! The pickle soup, sounds gross I know but it's so yummy, stuffed tenderloin is no knife required tender, polish sausages and mashed is mildly spiced with the perfect level of tingle to the taste buds! The Blueberry cheesecake is outstanding and made fresh in house. There are so many amazing dishes on the menu I'd fill the page but this place is known for catering and banquets but they are also a restaurant for families! Please give it a try you won't be disappointed! Or don't, we can keep the hidden hem to ourselves that way haha But seriously I love going here for our date nights and our family dinner dates too. Just...
