Great Wall Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Lyons Township

NEVER AGAIN ! HARD TO EVEN GIVE THEM 1 STAR....I have been going to this restaurant for years. Was always please with food. Recommended this place two 2 people i work with and was so disappointed, as well as so sorry i ever recommended this place. Food had no flavor, looked old, dried out, every item in their lunch combo order was not even eatable. They only got thru small portion and threw both away. I than stopped in after work to let them know how disappointed my friends were with quality of food. The man i talked to ( who claimed to only answer the phones) was rude judgemental, condescending and told me if i had a complaint or wanted anything thing back, ( refund) i needed to bring food back and he would taste it!!!( 🤦‍♀️) . THAN TOLD ME MAYBE THEY ORDERED SOMETHING THEY DONT LIKE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME STORY OF SON NOT LIKING APPLE CELL PHONES. 🤔 EITHER WAY, TOTAL WASTE OF TIME! AWFUL FOOD WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND STILL CANT FIGURE OUT WHAT APPLE CELL PHONES AND AWFUL CHINESSE FOOD HAS TO DO WITH ONE ANOTHER. DONT ORDER! DONT EAT THEIR FLAVORLESS FOOD AND DONT ATTEMPT TO GET ANY SATISFACTION OR A LOGICAL ANSWER WHEN YOU TELL THEM. SORRY I SUGGESTED YOUR PLACE OR EVEN THOUGHT FOOD WAS EATABLE! ANOTHER CUSTOMER...

Second time ordering from there. First time was about 2 or 3 years ago. All was great. This time the place was terrible. Got the food home and the cheap styrofoam trays they use had leaked all over everything. The chicken no longer tastes like chicken. It was also not spicy at all as advertised. I also ordered the spicy beef. Yuck. No taste. No spice. The pot stickers were hard. They gave me 1 capful of spicy dipping sauce which is usually my favorite at any Chinese place I order from. It was not spicy and tasted like vinegar.

Let me add that I am not a picky eater. I am a human leftover disposal. I have never given a review before for any place. I threw the food away except for the fortune cookies which I ate after cleaning the spilt sauces that had leaked. Never will I...

I got the orange chicken beef and broccoli egg rolls and Szechuan chicken.

The orange chicken was delicious almost tasted like a bbq chicken though. My kids loved it

The beef and broccoli was cooked to perfection the beef was tender and good quality the broccoli had a crunch but was fully cooked.

The Szechuan chicken was flavorful and had some really fresh veggies mixed with it.
