Cox Cafe — Restaurant in Macon

Cox Cafe harkens back to an era before there were chain restaurants littering the landscape. Walking in, you feel like you have been transported back in time to a place where everyone knew each other, and you knew that you were going to be welcomed. Friendly service, warm smiles, and hot food since 1996.

This is not a place that you are going to happen by while driving around. Cox Cafe is located deep in the industrial part of Macon. This is where the hard-working folks come to eat a hearty meal before heading back to work.

We came today based on a recommendation from a friend. We are glad we did. The food was good, and the servings were plentiful. You won't leave here hungry.

Cox cafe is difficult to find BECAUSE it’s a hidden gem! 💎 💎 💎 💎 💎 The food is everything you would want in a home cooked breakfast. It’s fulfilling, hearty, and flavorful. This is definitely not the place to go if you’re avoiding certain fats/grease.
