if I could give a zero stars I would. I swear I would never be the person that leaves a review like this, but I have never been so upset with the food establishment. The young man work in the window would not give me a receipt after being charged $30 for food that was cold and for example, the jalapeño poppers did not have the cream cheese in about three of them and then the one we did try and eat the cream cheese was so watery and sour tasting. The corn dog was cold. The diet Pepsi tasted very bad and then when I called to talk to the manager, he said well we have no control over what happens with the jalapeño poppers cause they come from a vendor. All the years I worked in food service are been around him. There is absolutely no excuse for the treatment or the behavior that was displayed. Not only was the at the window, extremely rude and not wanting to give me a receipt and all the other things he did then he gave my aunt a glass of water place of the diet drink he says you sure you don’t drink because paid for it. I told him to refund my money. He actually did that but when we drove around and up what all we it did not total $30. I guess I’m most upset that he didn’t handle it. Google says they are open until 8 pm on Saturday. We arrived at 6:55 and walked in. They informed us at the window we could not eat inside because their dining room closes at 7. It’s not posted ANYWHERE that the dining room closes at 7. Another lady in front of us IN A WHEELCHAIR was also forced to eat outside. I could understand shutting things down with 30 minutes to go, but an hour, really? At 7:20 we finished our burgers and I wanted a cone. I went to the door and sure enough it was closed. A guy cleaning inside opened it and asked if I needed anything. I said I just wanted a cone. He told me to go through the drive through. As you can see in the picture I’m now behind a truck with five people ordering full meals, just so I can order one cone. This is customer service at its worst. I won’t be back to this location. Please change your policy or at bare minimum post your hours clearly.

This Krekels consistently has the worst service, longest wait and highest prices of the franchise. Today it took about 30 minutes for us to get two ice cream cones and a soda. It wasn't even busy. When we got through ordering there was only a single car ahead of us, and it still took half an hour. In this time I could have driven to moweaqua ordered and been home, or went to the Krekels in Mt Zion. Upon arriving at the window, the guy took the cash out of my hand without even telling me my total. When I asked for the total, he appeared confused and proceeded to shut the window and take my money without ever saying a single word.
