OK, let me start by saying I just finished my shift over the road on my way up to Sacramento and I was gonna get something light. Then I saw the small little place by the gas station called the taste of India. I decided to go in because I was feeling a little bit For the HAKKA NOODLES CHICKEN no, let me tell you this I was impressed. The noodles was delicious. I definitely recommend for anybody that’s coming by to stop by here and get some authentic food. It was amazing. I was content and I have no complaints about it once again. I do recommended customer service was great. I believe I meet t the Chef. He was right there behind the young lady And I could tell you the Young man knows how to cook. I gave the taste of India five stars definitely stop by and you can also find them on yelp and also by the way the price is reasonable. I will be posting up my receipt as soon as I’m done with this review. Keep up the good work guys I will be returning and thank you for your service and the food

Excellent place. The food is always hot, fresh, and tasty! We come about three times a month and have been regulars for two years and have yet to have a bad experience, meal wise. The service is also great too because they are straight forward and I like that. Obviously there is a slight language barrier so if you’re expecting them to walk you through the menu, just don’t. Google what you want first and order it straight forward. All and all, they have the best Indian food I’ve had in the Central Valley. Our go to order is: chicken korma (mild), lamb tikka masala (spicy), 2 garlic naan, and we ask for two glasses of water. The orders come with rice so you don’t have to order an extra side unless you really like rice.

Ordered Lamb Kadai, whatever noodles (vegan) w/ side of white rice. Being my first Indian food, I’m forever a fan. Lamb was tender as a beef roast- the ginger sauce paired very well even though bit greasy. With it all, the veggies were fresh, sautéed just enough to get that crunch & keep their flavor. Vegan noodles were mildly spicy yet sweet & not overly cooked or drenched with sauce; perfect. Didn’t taste like cheap noodles to me. White rice is different, it’s a little dry with cumin in it. I enjoyed it still. $30 in after tip. You get enough portion worth 2-3 meals. Ordered take out, waited 10 minutes or less.

Came to this restaurant today with my family. As we came in and approached the front counter the staff looked at us with a (blank like) stare and we received no greeting. We had ordered food for take out 30 minutes prior on the phone and we had decided to change our mind and dine it instead. The waiter seemed upset since we had requested to dine instead. We were given no responses wether to be seated or if they would bring our food to our table. My wife and 2 year old son went to the patio area to sit at a table and my mom and I were waiting at a table inside for our order. I was a bit confused since the waiter was serving plates at another table in the patio area. The same waiter came inside from the patio area and dropped off 3 plates with a few utensils right next to me at the same table my mom and I were seated at. He did not say a word and left back to the kitchen. My mom and I thought it was best to maybe wait at the patio area with the rest of our family instead. 10 minutes had gone by and the waiter finally brought out our food in to go bags which we were thinking it was going to be served in plate’s instead but we made an exception since we had changed our decision last minute. My mom had asked the waiter for some plates so we could transfer the food from the to go trays and the waiter made a stop hand gesture with out saying a word and went back inside which was rude. He came out with with the same 3 plates that had few utensils he had dropped off next to me at the table inside earlier and left. I just thought it was odd that he brought plates from the outside patio to inside not knowing if they had been used previously and then brought them back out to patio area at our table. One plate even had a few stains from Chicken masala sauce on the side. We didn’t make a big fuss about it but I want people to be aware of their service. The staff needs to communicate professionally and make customers (family’s who want to dine in) feel welcomed. The food was exceptional but due to poor services we will not be coming back. I read another review of a person being mistreated at dine in because they had a child. Not sure if this was the same case since we had brought...

Well I am a traveller I have been to India and travelled extensively in that country enjoying the culture and of course the cuisine. I have to say this little hole in the wall East Indian Joint is absolutely fantastic. Very delicious and authentic food. I had the Veg korma it’s perfect just the right amount of heat to the sweet back tones. The Fish masala is out of This world. Soft fish and I just want to drink the sauce soooo good. My next dish was the chicken Balti was as good as it gets. Tender chicken in the perfectly spiced tomato sauce. My bread choice was Aloo Prantha a potato filled naan and it was a yummy compliment to soak up the delicious sauces. And for fun I tried the onion Bhaji it’s also done just right. This place is a hidden gem. And for anyone in the area who has not tried this place, do so you won’t be disappointed. And to all the truckers looking for something different and not for the truck stop I highly recommend this restaurant. Not to mention the sate are friendly happy and singing to the Indian music playing in the background. I find the price for how much food you get is excellent. So many leftovers for the last leg of my journey. Thank you for feeding this...

Had a horrible experience!!!!! We asked to dine in and the employee told me only takeout. We noticed that there was a few people dining in it didn’t make sense. We decided to order thinking they were going to close soon. We waited for 45 min and notice A couple more customers coming in and were allowed to dine in . When receiving our order I asked the employee why is it that other people are able to dine in and we weren’t given the opportunity? He said! “I’m sorry it’s not me it’s the owner sitting on the left, I am not that type of person it’s not me that decided that it’s the owner” and I said “why is he not being equal with everyone , why is it that he is being unfair to us, why is he giving us poor service!? He said! “It’s because you brought your baby your baby makes noise” he clearly said it like that! My family and I have never had this horrible poor customer service! After this horrible experience they didn’t even get our order correct. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else my family and I will never...
