Madison Golf and Country Club — Restaurant in Madison

On April 5th had a group of 7 AND a group of 8 playing. On a Saturday. Several foursomes and smaller where trying to get around them by skipping holes to get in front of them. Complete Chaos. Two different people including me went to club house to get Mgr. to separate groups. Lady taking money at club house advised us that she would call Mgr and advise him. The group of 7&8 kept playing. At end of day I advised group of 8 about the etiquette of golf and the gave me a smart ass remark. Sunday and Tuesday had groups of six playing and holding up other players. Mgr did not rectify problems. If u want to wait at every hole and take four hours to play 9 holes, this is the place to go. Very unhappy with management. Also has a sign on number 1 advising groups of no more than 5. People I saw playing Saturday,Sunday and Tuesday might not know how to read or understand the etiquette in...

We stayed here for two and a half weeks and had a wonderful time! The place is very clean and well groomed. The staff are super friendly and always willing to lend a hand. We have a high energy dog and she absolutely loved the dog park. The dog park is broken up in two sections. One for smaller dogs and the other section for larger dogs. Our dog loved it. Plenty of room for her to run as fast as she can. There are regular get togethers which is really nice. They have a nice outdoor bar section with a few pickleball courts and TV's. Most of the RV spots are concrete and level. There were a few grass spots along the dog park fence. They also have propane onsite and will pickup your tank at your site, fill, and return. What a really nice 9 hole course. I wasn't sure what to expect, but, was greatly surprised. There are a couple of 500 yard par 5s, the greens have some break in them and you can tell someone is maintaining the course that knows what they are doing. The clubhouse has friendly staff, a fully stocked bar and snacks. The have a nice pool to cool off in after a round on a hot day....A+....we have already planned another trip back to stay at the campground on the property and...
