The Sticks Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Madison

First time here. Came from 1 hour away. I’m very hard to please, but the food was actually very delicious. I had the special; steak bites coated in a light breading and fried perfectly. Offered with a little side cup of sauce, which I thought was a “gravy” for my mashed potatoes, but it was a type of A-1 sauce for the steak bites, but it was still nice after I dumped it on the potatoes. The green beans were perfect and I love them, but my hubby doesn’t care for green beans so his sat on his plate untouched. The dinner roll is not even needed…many people trying to cut carbs. The little bowl of salad was just right, but why the .50 cent charge for hubbys 2nd dressing? I ordered western and blue cheese with no extra charge. Anyway, food 100+ rating, very good! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Was expecting a supper club with lots of “fine dining” items, but times are changing…STILL, quality, flavor, is still what we’re all looking for. Will...

I love that this is a veteran owned business. The Cheese tortellini was shockingly good. I have eaten at hundreds of Italian restaurants and this is by far the best Cheese tortellini I've ever had. The owners are both veterans and amazing people. I ate there yesterday and im already craving more. This is by far one of the best restaurants in the area and im excited to go back and try more off of the menu. Go support this restaurant not only because its a veteran owned company, but because the food is tremendous, the staff is friendly, and I love the atmosphere.

Amazing atmosphere and very friendly staff! I eat here once a week and try something new every time and have yet to be disappointed. If you get an appetizer or a full course meal it tastes fresh and flavorful! Lots of different options to choose from on their menu. Perfect for a family or group sit down meal, a quick bite, or a beer/drink. You can tell the owners take pride in their Bar and Grill, the place is exceptionally clean, they take pride in the food that comes out of the kitchen, and they truly care about the customers experience....
