Yummee Treats — Restaurant in Madison

I have been a regular customer here for years. Yesterday, I asked for my free complimentary cookie. They declined, citing various reasons. I'm not unhappy about the cookie being denied, but disappointed with how adamant they were that I don't get one. The lengths to which they went in order to decline the complimentary cookie continues to sting me long after I left. While the receptionist was friendly, the manager lady was protective of her free cookies! They keep claiming that my offer has expired, but I had a non-expiring offer (which they had explained to me in the last visit). The display-panel facing me showed that. Then they said I could refer a friend to get a free cookie. As chance would have it, I was taking a buddy out there for the first time, what more does "refer a friend" need! But they insist I wont get my free damn cookie ! I wish I could say I wont ever step into this establishment, but they make incredible teas, so.. I guess, they got me! I suppose, I will wait till I'm ambushed in my next drink and vent my frustration here.

EDIT: Yeng Yang patiently sorted out my rewards. I'll get my free cookie next time. I give Yummee additional four stars for putting up...

Stopped by here for the first time this weekend, and was overall pleased. We got three different items: Cookies (S'mores & Pumpkin Spice), Strawberry Cinnamon Roll and their buns.

The cookies were too dry and overbaked for our preference, but still tasted good and not overly sweet. I'm just more of a fan of soft cookies instead of crispy. They were also pricey at $4 each. We will pass on these in the future.

The Strawberry Cinnamon Roll was much better, not too sweet but very flavourful. Would get these again! We liked that they had a unique flavor to offer.

The buns by far though were the absolute STAR, and the main reason we will come back. These are garlic bread toasted with butter and stuffed with a layer of cream cheese. They are absolutely devine and some of the best bread I've ever had. They had a great deal this weekend of buy one get one free which was nice since they are $6 apiece. So good!

They have a good location next door to the Original Pancake House, but could use more standout signage as you can easily miss it. I hope...

I honestly love these cookies I had them at the farmers market then visited the store about three times both time I visited the store and purchased a 6 pack of cookies there has been one occasion a strand of hair baked in a cookie and the last two times one being yesterday hair in the box it self and not just one I saw three pieces of hair and one looked like a dog hair and for the record I do not have pets this quickly made lose interest and unfortunately I won’t be purchasing any of those cookies again I should have taken a picture but I was so disgusted at the thought of swallowing hair and or whatever else a quarter of the way into eating it I pulled over and tossed the cookies in the trash. I’m not sure if someone has a side job there as a hair dresser and they leave and come to work with those same cloths on there, but me finding hair twice in the box was a real disappointment the cookies are amazing...
