Don's Grill — Restaurant in Maiden

I absolutely love this little diner!! The food is so good... from my children ordering boneless wings, and cheese sticks and hot dogs, to my husband and I ordering burgers and fries... everything is delicious!! Plus they have Mountain Dew as a fountain drink which that is 5 stars in itself... my only complaint, we frequent here on saturdays... and it seems like the past few times ive tried, there has been no answer on the phone, and i always call when their hours state they are open.... but I think maybe they are busy, so i continue to call and then after driving up there i realize they are closed... which is frustrating at least. I wish they would have like a facebook or some social media outlet or even inform google of their hours changing or closings... this isnt just one time they've been closed when open hours. But when they are open, its great food!!! We all especially love the Set-ups!! Dine in service, is suitable. Nothing extravagant... sometimes i feel like the servers are "past their time to clock out." They just dont have that willingness to please, or go above and beyond, kinda annoyed attitude.... but the food is delicious... if youre in the mood...

Wife and I showed up for lunch. Had to wait a few minutes for them to open, first time there. Did know what time they opened. Was able to peruse the menu on the outside of the building before we walked in. Wife ordered the Crispy chicken sandwich and added fries with water. She ordered a side of ranch but she didn't receive, and I think we both forgot about it till we were about done eating. I ordered Philly cheese steak no mushroom with tater tots and a water. I think for the most part we both enjoyed our meals. Wife said it was a decent-sized chicken and I thought the Philly cheese steak was a good size and good portion of fries and tater tots. Could have used a little sauce or something on the Philly cheese steak is what my wife said. I could see us returning back in the future. The music was good but almost couldn't hear it over other patrons. I did mention not getting the ranch. And that .50 cent was taken...

I wish I took a picture of the plate I was served. I ordered 2 club sandwich baskets for my child and me. When I opened the boxes my fries were cold and dumped ontop of my sandwiches. When I went back up to Don's, I politely asked for hot fries,andfor my fries to be on the side(like how they usually are any other time I order from here) instead the cook mumbles something throws his hands up shakes his head tells me that's how they come and the cashier came back to the register and she refunds my monies! It's about customer satisfaction any other time I ordered from here no problem food isn't that great but it's convenient. If you don't want "our" business then be a man and say so. No worries,I will never spend my money here again. Whomever you are on the grill learn how to treat your customers no matter what their ethnicity is!!! Good luck to this business...
