Hardee's — Restaurant in Maiden

The service was amazing. The person handling the window was (amazingly and very, very kindly running the whole restaurant, at least that's what it seemed like to me) a sweet, young, professional, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and kind person. I would definitely return to this location. It wasn't too busy when I stopped in but I have to say, that kid was busting butt to make sure things were getting done. I wished I knew the name of that worker and his orientation so I could properly say/call-out the he/she pronoun. But although it was timely (fast), the food was hot (but not too hot), and the cashier/window person was amazing, the biscuits were smaller than I have ever seen a buscuit from there, or anywhere for that matter. I ordered an extra plain biscuit to go along with the gravy and biscuit. (So I could finish eating the gravy left after eating the one that came in it and one biscuit ain't enough anyway) I didn't have the ride or ability to go back to the restaurant to see if it could be fixed. I wished I could have because I know the restaurant would have totally fixed their mistake. Dang I feel bad for complaining now because come to think about it. While I'm writing this s thinking, he WAS (I believe) running the whole store by himself. But the biscuits fell short... Literally. Hire more people that are like the person working here.. this poor Hardee's employee is needing a hand or 6. And I need someone to let me have a biscuit that meets the requirements of what a buscuit should look like. Size, I don't care what anyone else says, matters. Again... Size matters. This is absolutely the worst Hardee's I've ever been to, and ordered Doordash from. They never get the order right, the grills, and fryers are not cleaned properly. I witnessed the store manager being told by a crew member she has to check the temperatures on the meats. The manager did not even know where the meat thermometer was. The store manager has been working there since they opened that location. They are very rude, constantly on there phones instead of helping customers. I also seen one of the crew members children in the back because she could not find a sitter. The child was about 2. They stuck him in a high chair and put a tablet on the counter. I know people have to work but that is very unsafe. I ordered Doordash breakfast at 11:29 am, they serve till 12. I had the manager call me at 11:53 saying they couldn't make the order they switched to lunch. Mind you my order was placed and accepted by her at 11:20 am. She said u could switch to a lunch option, I politely declined and called doordash to refund me the money. My dasher called me apologizing like it was his fault. He said he got there to pick my food up at 11:30, watched numerous customers order breakfast while waiting for my order. He said he heard them talking about waiting till right before lunch to calm they didn't want ro fill the breakfast dash. Very bad managerial skills on her Part. The poor dasher thought I was going to be mad at him and rate him low. I said no it's neither of our faults that I was calling doordash. let me take a minute to brag on this Hardee's location.

over the past week/2 I have visited this location a number of times

the thing i feel most notable is the HOT temperature things are served.

ive done a couple burgers here & have been IMPRESSED.

this location strays from my usual Hardee's {conover} opinion of "Fast Food So Fast Its Not Even Hot"

Making a couple observations of HOT FOOD & FAST here i dared to try their chicken tenders.

Again I WAS IMPRESSED ! which has really changed my perspective of Hardee's locally

i frequently drive up to hildebran for their PorkChop & Gravy Biscuit BUT this'll be the destination for my next PC&G Biscuit craving

ok MOST NOTABLE was their HOT serving temperature NEXT MOST NOTABLE are the wonderful personalities & friendly faces at the drive thru.

My receipts say Alex, Shyanne & Boots were my most recent notable cashiers.

ok (im back) i stopped by Friday 4/25/2025 around 715p & Hardee's shouldn't serve chicken tenders that have sat around THAT LONG with an instant return to the stereotypical FAST FOOD SO FAST ITS NOT EVEN HOT

5/15/2025 159p (Order # 339440) another crappy day for chicken tenders here. if sitting around toooo long isn't enough, a piece thats been broken in half shouldn't be considered a chicken tender
