So I gave this restaurant a second try since my first experience was good. The lady who took my order was brilliant and accommodating. But there was a man who seemed too annoyed with my order, I believe he is also an owner of the restaurant. I am a vegetarian so I need to be a little specific with what goes into a simple pasta dish. Mind you, it was an uncomplicated order ~ penne pasta with olives, peppers, and broccoli with red and white sauce mixed. That's all. But this man had a lot to comment on me ordering. He comments that "nothing is free" and "you have to pay extra for this." And I was a little taken aback because it was unnecessary, he said something about me before that as well but he's lucky I did not hear that. I come from a very popular city in the middle east and I've been to over 100 restaurants, if I have to pay extra for extra ingredients then I don't mind. I dont need someone to aggressively tell me that I have to pay because nothing is "free." Well, thanks for letting me know that you find it really hard to accommodate...
Read moreAfter living in the Blandon area for 2 months now, and driving past this spot a good dozen times or more, I decided to stop in. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak woth buffalo sauce (they didn't have a buffalo cheesesteak on the menu). It came out and it was one of the driest cheesesteaks I had ever tried to eat. The buffalo sauce was almost non-existent, and it wasn't even a good buffalo sauce, it was close to flesh color than buffalo sauce color. I had to ask for ketchup to get the bites down, it was just too dry. I also ordered the calamari for my appetizer, which I still haven't learned my lesson ordering seafood from restaurants so far from an ocean......it was not enjoyable. I think it needed to cooked/fried a little longer, and my stomach agreed 20 minutes after I left. I won't put in the details, but I sure am glad I was only an 8 minute drive away from home. I doubt I'll ever stop in here again, which is sad, I was looking for a new restaurant to call home in this new town (for...
Read moreI unfortunately cannot review the food. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a nice lunch we never even got to order. We asked for a moment from the server, and I truly mean a moment. We figured out our appetizer, and both our entrees within no more than 2-3 minutes. An entire 15-20 minutes had gone by before we decided to get up and leave after no one returned to our table. Mind you, we were literally the only people in the restaurant at this point. The server was spending the entire time with a family, seemed like her family, on the other side. While we could have said something, it's not even worth it. I shouldn't have to chase people for service when it isn't even busy. I would have loved to try the food as it smelled amazing, but can't do so without an order being placed. We left money on the table for the sodas we at least received but didn't even drink, and went on our way. No one even notice...
