Lemon Tiramisu Bakery — Restaurant in Maine Township

I recall ordering a “sheet” cake for my sons graduation, with strawberries inside with buttercream on the outside and whip cream on the inside. I don’t mean to complain but if you order from here make sure you know what your getting- maybe “sheet” cake means something else here? I didn’t say anything because it was too late to fix it now- What I got was a 5 layer round cake with no strawberries inside the layers. There were specks of strawberries and you could taste the strawberries but there weren’t any real strawberries- I was looking forward to eating the strawberries. I don’t know what happened to the top of the cake- might be the restaurants fault but I could not cut thru the buttercream on top- it was very thick, I ended up slicing off the top of the cake and serving it that way. Amazing local bakery!! I ordered a birthday cake for the first time here. The baker took time listening to what I had in mind, reviewing the pictures I had of both what I wanted and didn’t want (in terms of colors etc) and made fantastic recommendations on improving my idea. I was absolutely thrilled when I got the cake- it was BETTER than what we wanted and expected!! The cake was so beautiful (really didn’t want to cut it;))and such a hit! And very very delicious! I’m adding a picture for reference- do note that I scribbled on top of the name on the side of the cake for privacy (leaving 1 letter so the color can be seen- recommended from the baker by the way, which worked amazing compared to my original idea). I'd often passed by on my way to work, curious but without time to stop in. I finally made it and boy, am I happy I did. I ordered the mango tiramisu and an adorable chocolate roll, crowned by an earthy scene. The tiramisu was pleasantly cushy and full of a sweet but refreshing flavor, all tied together by the whipped cream. My boyfriend whom I'd bought the chocolate roll for was also very pleased, saying it was "quite fancy" and rich in taste. I will be coming back...
