Caffe Luxxe — Restaurant in Malibu

Love this hidden gem! Their lattes are excellently foamed and lasts while you drink it and the boys are always so sweet. I have a pretty high standard for lattes coming from the Bay Area and Luxxe makes them great! And I am obsessed with their strawberry and Poppy seed pastry, do yourself a favor and try it. The shop is just off the PCH in a little shopping center with a quaint outdoor area seating in the back. I love their coffee, one of the best in LA, which is why I'm so disturbed and disappointed to learn that they charge more for a large Americano vs a small and the only difference is the water amount. I called to verify this and the office confirmed that they use the same amount of espresso for both the small and large, which means they are charging more for water. Unacceptable. I'm so disappointed. What a lovely store, great coffee, and friendly workers. Sadly the owners have chosen not to offer internet service, and I had zero reception at their location with At&T. I would have loved to sit there and hotspot my phone to use my computer, or sit and enjoy a coffee while knowing I was on top of my work but it wasn't possible. As an entrepreneur I simply cannot be out of touch during the day and while I'd love to return it's not an option. I hope they decide to make some changes and help their customers...
