I spent all day at soho Malibu for Memorial Day and I was absolutely blown away by the service. I took everyone's name specifically so I could leave an good review. It was one of the best soho experiences I've ever encountered. this team is truly next level. I was greeted by the adorable host Mackayla who was absolutely so warm and inviting. Then I met the GM I believe by the name of Paul. His professionalism and care was so appreciated. he made sure I got a really great seat at the bar. Then I met Mitchell the bartender who made the best dirty martini I've ever had. It's rare that I don't have to make changes to the amount of dirty is this guy definitely knows what he's doing. He was also very efficient and kind. A true talented bartender. Then I met another manager by the name of Laura who gave me the most amazing food recommendations and she went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get everything I needed and she knew the entire menu by heart. I was so impressed. She was kind and professional and I was blown away by her attention to detail. Then I had a lovely server by the name of Luis and he was so kind and professional as well. He was fast and made sure I had everything I needed. Anytime I needed an extra sauce it was out in a flash, I couldn't believe it with how busy they were. Luis was truly next level at his service. I appreciate people who work hard at their job so much. Next I went to the rooftop to enjoy some games and met another bartender upstairs by the name of Jason who made me the best mimosa I've ever had. Fresh squeezed orange juice!!!! He was so professional and efficient. There were people upstairs who clearly had too much to drink and he handled it so well and made sure all the other members and guests were comfortable. He was a true leader and I was not only impressed but he made me feel safe. I went back downstairs and met some other servers who just had the best all around energy and I felt like a queen. Rodrigo, Bryan, Shy, John and Luis the bartender ---- Thank you so much for all of your hard work. Every staff member blew me away here. All had a smile on their face and worked hard. Oh and the burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Can we please get that at every house?!?! I cannot wait to come back. Thank you little beach...
Read moreLoved this location so much. It’s right next door to Nobu Malibu and the view of the ocean is gorgeous. Valet parking available. This location had a lot of families with small kids present so the vibe was more laidback. We had lunch here and we appreciated how often the manager came to check in on us.
For the four of us, we ordered the lobster bucatini, crudo, green salad, cod, and crudités. For dessert we got the Eton Mess and cookie crumble with ice cream on top. Everything was so tasty and pretty. My favorite was the lobster bucatini. We all got some cold pressed juice to drink with our meal and ended with some matcha lattes (we needed caffeine to wake us up after the feasting we did). Plenty of seating to do work and again, the view of the water can’t be beaten. There is beach access so I would suggest bringing your suit and a paddle board or surfboard if you have time to play...
Read moreSo I get invited to interview for a Porter position by "Chef" Shauna. I arrived early and the Valet workers, mainly Hispanic I think, we're in my opinion rude and I think their racist. I go in and politely ask for Shauna and the tall white woman, whom I think is racist too and I think she's an informant, looked at me like I didn't belong here I think. I'm wearing C.K., Puma, Tommy, Nike, and my teeth are movie star white, yet she looks at me like I don't belong here I think. I waited along time for Shauna to interview me. I wasn't offered anything to drink (I hear they have to other interviewees). This place is majority white people I think. The company I think is mainly white people. I'm filing a Discrimination lawsuit against them. I can't wait for them to run my background check (which should be mentioned in the job ad).
