My friend and I are both asian girls and the store manager there was racist towards us. He was extremely arrogant and rude and refused to provide us with service due to a waitlist mishap on their part. We took my friends new puppy to Malibu, we were only looking for a chill afternoon with good food and a nice scenery. We went to this restaurant first around 6:15pm and asked if there was a wait, a girl told us there’s no wait at the time, so we decided we go to the pier in front of the restaurant for some photos and come back to dine. When we came back around 6:30pm, the girl told us we have to sit outdoors because of the dog, and that there was a wait for about 15 mins. My friends puppy was only 2 months old and tiny. She was too young to be a service animal so we were told we can’t sit indoors. This was all fine and we respected their rules. It was really cold so we went to sit in our car and waited. After 15 mins we weren’t called, I went to the front to ask how many tables are ahead of us, the girl told us about another 15 min, so we waited for another 15mins. By now it was around 7:10pm and we’ve been here for about an hour. I went to ask again and this time the store manager was at the desk, he told us there’s going to be another 45 min wait, and said that the previous hostess girl was unprofessional and told us there’s wrong wait time. By now my friend and I were extremely hungry so we wanted to go to another restaurant. So far I’ve only been polite. I’ve only asked how long the wait is and said ok thanks. The parking situation there was difficult. It was $60 without validation from the restaurant. I asked the store manager if he could provide us with parking validations (parking wouldn’t be free it would still be like $25) since it was on their part that we waited for so long there. The store manager refused and told us to leave. I wanted to go to the indoor part of the restaurant and ask the other store manager inside to see if he would give us a parking validation, only to hear the rude store manager cussing and telling them to ignore us through the walkie talkie. I was crying at this point due to his attitude and arrogance. He said something along the lines of, these people are ridiculous, don’t give them parking validations just ignore them and don’t provide them with any service. He then mockingly told us he would give us validation if we were to buy a store tee. We’re hungry why would be buy a t shirt?? Overall terrible customer service experience paired with top notch arrogant racism. Please do...

As a First Timer, I didn't have any expectations; had never even BEEN to Paradise Cove, so I was genuinely excited as we pulled into the driveway. The lot was pretty empty, which I attributed to it being high Noon on a Wed, so parking was a breeze. The bathroom being RIGHT there was VERY appreciated as SOON as I got out the car...

As my date and I hadn't booked reservations, we arrived to the Check-In to see what the bookings were like. We were quickly told we could have a seat if we liked, but we decided to book for about two-ish hours later so we could enjoy the beach just yonder.

With out Reservation set, we went to enjoy the beach and came back. The lot had filled fairly quickly, and a line was just growing, so the timing was perfect. As soon as we hopped in line, we were seated. The raw beach floor threw me for a loop. I genuinely would've worn my flip flops had I known, lol. Very cool.

The View was beautiful; with the calm water crashing ashore, the screaming kids that were in the waves having left, and the restaurant coming to a heavy hum, I thoroughly enjoyed exactly where we were sitting-close enough to see the water, but far enough not to be in random people's background for pictures.

Our Server, Kaytie, was a pure delight from the moment they said hello. The menu was a tad intimidating, but after some mulling around and a couple Coronas, we ordered the fried calamari and jumbo fried shrimp. As the restaurant's ambience encouraged MANY pictures, we didn't even notice the time as it flew by for our food. And when it did arrive? DELISCIOUS.

Kaytie made sure to touch base often and refill us at request, despite watching how her tables were filling quickly with a midday rush. I people watch, and some of those folks were a tad demanding, but she kept her cool even when people bumped into her. Pay her better, fr. That sand took getting used to walking through, Idk how the hell she didn't drop that giant guac bowl...

OH, almost forgot; as we sat outside, I only got to see the interior when I went to the bathroom, as they seemed to save that seating for patio overflow, and when I tell you its SO cool! The pictures, memorabilia, etc all over every inch of wall was a great touch.

After paying our bill and tipping Kaytie, we waved goodbye to the sand, surf, and decadent seafood, and headed home to LA.

Loved the Service, the Sights, and Such.

Would DEFINITELY recommend for a Sunset Dinner or early...

hi everyone

I wanted to share with you my recent experience at Paradise Cove Beach Cafe, a place that has quickly made it to my top 10 list of must-visit spots in California. Given my passion for the beach and traveling, this place truly captured my heart.

Amidst the ongoing challenges brought about by the pandemic, I decided to take my family to Paradise Cove Beach Cafe for dinner. As we arrived, we followed the necessary safety protocols, including wearing masks before being seated. The atmosphere and ambience of the cafe instantly transported us to a place of tranquility and beauty. It felt like a hidden gem right by the ocean.

One of the things that stood out to me was how kid-friendly the cafe is. It caters to all ages, making it a perfect destination for families looking to unwind and enjoy good food by the beach. The staff were incredibly polite and courteous, with a special mention to our waiter who went above and beyond to ensure we had a delightful dining experience. His friendly demeanor was truly a highlight of the evening, prompting me to show my appreciation through a generous tip.

Moreover, I must commend the visible presence of the security staff, which added an extra layer of comfort and safety during our visit. In these uncertain times, it's reassuring to be at a place that not only meets hygiene standards but also exudes a sense of warmth and hospitality.

Unfortunately, due to a late reservation, I didn't get the chance to explore the beach fully. Nonetheless, a stroll on the pier provided me with stunning views and an opportunity to capture some unforgettable moments through photographs. The sight of the ocean with waves crashing against the shore was truly mesmerizing.

If someone were to ask me for a recommendation on the best beachfront restaurant to visit, I would wholeheartedly suggest Paradise Cove Beach Cafe as one of the top contenders. It's a perfect blend of excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and delicious dining options, creating an experience that lingers in the memory long after the visit.

In conclusion, my visit to Paradise Cove Beach Cafe was nothing short of magical, and I wanted to share this delightful experience with you. I hope that you get the chance to visit this hidden gem and create your own cherished...
