If there were 6*, I'd happily give it! We had finished a 4 day hike in the mountains, hadn't planned our food well and I had had altitude sickness. We hadn't planned to be there at all! By far the best food and service on the June Lake loop!! With over 100 years there, you feel like a local (we were years ago) as the staff is very sweet and efficient. The sandwiches were amazing, delicious and hearty, make sure to get some ranch for your crispy fries. The salads were excellent as well. There is a nice deck with a little view of the lake and inside is cozy. Worth passing town...
