B & L Seafood — Restaurant in Mamou

My fiancée had reserved 4 sacks of crawfish various sizes which we were told..no problem. We were told to pick them up Saturday night before 8 as they closed at that time and we wouldn't be able to get them as they were closed Sunday as well. We drove from Oberlin to Mamou and when we arrived were told there catch was light they didn't have our sacks. They could have called us and saved us the trip. We were then told that we could come back in the morning and get them as they were open for customers getting crawfish. We were also told they would call us to confirm our reserved sacks were available. We never heard from them. Luckily the Crawfish Shack had some, we went with theirs. B and L was recommended to us. Very poor customer service! Very unprofessional staff! Took 3 times to reserve medium to large crawfish and kept not having my order. When I finally got the 2 sacks of crawfish, brought them to boil & 90% of them were VERY SMALL and paid $100 dollar per sack for what was supposed to be medium to large?? This place is awesome!! They have a huge variety of seafood. They're super-fast and everyone there is friendly. We go there quite often for crabs and sometimes shrimp. We get our crawfish there too once the prices go down a little. Their prices are pretty good too! Last year we'd get crawfish about every 2 or 3 weeks and they were always cheaper than the other locals. My only complaint is... They don't have any crabs...
