This place is HUGE RIP-OFF!! It was my first time ever ordering from Jim & Nena’s. I found the menu online and decided on a large “veggie lovers” pizza without tomatoes. The price on their website said $17.95. I called to place my order and was never told the price prior to pick up. When my husband arrived to pick up our order the pizza rang up at $32.99!!!! When he got home with the pizza I immediately called to inform them that we were charged incorrectly. The man who answered the phone told me that their ACCURATE menu prices could ONLY be found on their Facebook page. I’m not sure how I was supposed to know this but I logged onto Facebook while I was on the phone because I was sure this price was still a mistake. Much to my complete and utter shock the price listed on their Facebook page was $32.99!!!!!!! I thought they would have at least given me some type of a price break for omitting the tomatoes but that was wishful thinking. A large cheese pizza here is priced at $14.49, which means I paid OVER $4.50 PER TOPPING for this pizza!! It would have been cheaper for me to just order a large cheese pizza and add each of the 4 toppings individually (toppings are listed for $2.99 each - which is still outrageous)! The man on the phone was very short/rude and basically told me that it stinks to be me. I also found it shocking that the “meat lovers” pizza is priced at $32.99 as well…since when is meat the same price as veggies?!?! This place does not do right by the customer and their pizza isn’t even that good. Last Friday, we wanted a quick easy dinner after a long week- My husband calls Jim and Nena's (since we love to support local businesses) My husband is vegetarian and regardless if you are a pizza place or not- there's tons of restaurant providing meatless options we did love the bread. He was harassed and told " You should just order a salad" Reluctantly, they take his order but told him he has to pay for the steak sub but we can't change it. We paid for meat we didn't get. This was super off putting to me when I heard this. I was picking up the food on the way home- he paid for it over the phone. When I arrive for pick-up, everyone including the cooks and customers did not have a mask on and no social distancing. No hand sanitizer and it smelled awful. The extremely RUDE cashier just looks at me when I walk in. I told him I had a pick-up order for 2 subs- he slams the receipt on the counter and told me "$18.00" I told him we already paid. He rolls his eyes at me. I then decided to ask why they felt it was appropriate to give my husband a hard time over a meatless sub. He was so disrespectful and told me " I don't make the rules" This was my boiling point. I also ordered a Large cheesesteak, Stromboli Which I got because I had had a part of a medium, and it was delicious, but the large did not taste the same. It just wasn’t nearly as Good in my opinion. And it was $30 + I had that and a large cheese pizza and it was $50 and change! The visual hygiene of the people working behind the counter Is not what I want to see when I’m watching my food being prepared. I also was very disappointment when a delivery person returned and had been attacked by a dog… Bitten badly, but did not report it to authorities. Just went home and cleaned it up herself, bandaged it up and it was bleeding through the bandage. She was severely bitten by a pitbull and did not report it to the authorities.
