I have to give it a star because Google demands you have to give it at least a star. They're not even deserving of this star that I gave them. When we called at the beginning of the day, at the beginning of their opening, as Google states, at 10:47 a.m. they answered the phone and said they weren't open. Why would you even pick up the phone and say you're not open if you're not open?
Then at 11, I called to actually place the order. Hearing a girl pick up the phone and say on the phone that she can't take orders that she doesn't know how to take orders, did not instill a whole lot of confidence in me to begin with that she could even take an order or that our order would be right. I should have stopped right there and called a different sandwich place and ordered from them because the rest of the order, and the rest of the day, was not any better than that. She gave the phone to another worker who then took the order in a hap-hazard sloppy manner. When we arrived to pick up our sandwiches and brought them back they were wrong. I called back and told them that I was coming back in for another sandwich and at that point Tina the manager sounded as if she was totally in my corner. However, things would change when we arrived at the restaurant. I told him what it was I wanted, and they seemed befuddled. They seemed as if they didn't know how to complete the order which I requested. They were so beside themselves that I ended up writing down the entire order for them. About three separate occasions during the making of the two subs that I ordered, they came to my wife and myself asking us about the toppings that we want it on it when it was clearly on a note that I had to write for them. Then when we got our subs, we checked them at the table and once again they were wrong. At that point we told them they were wrong and what we wanted changed and all of the cooks at all of the waitresses there that day started yelling at us about how we wrote it, but the first time around, their people wrote it, and it was still wrong. They told us among other things, that we had to write on there everything we didn't want. So what was I to do? Was I to write, "No I don't want any bananas. No I don't want any apples. No I don't want any Corn Flakes on my sub.' The list could have been endless . Why couldn't they have made the sub as I told them to make it the second time, or even as their staff wrote it down incorrectly the first time? We asked for our money back and left. You tell me if that was...
Read moreI went to this establishment for the first time because of a recommendation I received from an older couple. That was about six weeks ago, and they told me to go on a Tuesday for their taco specials. I sat at the bar and waited for about 10 minutes to have the bartender finally come up to me and asked if they could help me. Her name was Jennifer. I ordered a drink and asked for a menu. I then watched her for another 10 minutes walk around and talk to the older gentlemen, who I could tell, were regulars, and I waited, until she finally approached me again. I ordered the tacos and another drink because mine was already empty. And I kind of figured I wouldn’t be seeing her for a while. The food came out pretty quickly, I ate it and finished my drink and waited again for Jennifer to come over to me. When she finally did, I told her I would take my tab. I still left her a 35% tip, even though I was disappointed with the service. I went back again, a few weeks later, and it was the same scenario. Watching her walk around, talking to her regulars, and basically bypassing me, sitting with an empty drink at the edge of the bar that was clearly visible. I asked for my tab, and again gave at least a 25 to 30% tip even though I was disappointed again with the service. Today I stopped in again for the tacos. Same story, regulars being, talked to, and catered to and me sitting and waiting to get a drink. I had finally had enough of the disrespect so I asked for my tab. The bill was $33 and I still gave her a $10 tip. I will not ever be coming back here again. I actually just contacted the older couple that recommended the place to me. I told them the story about the bartender, and they knew immediately who I was talking about. They still frequent this restaurant, but refuse to sit at the bar because of her. They said they had the same experience as I did, and would listen to her saying how much her feet hurt and her back hurt to her regulars, etc. They always get a table now so they don’t have to deal with her. This is the first review I have ever given in my life and I am almost 67 years old. I would recommend the food in a heartbeat, but would ask any new customers to go sit at the bar and see what your experiences turn out to be. I’m pretty sure it will be the same as mine. Sad but true, not recommended for service but take out I recommend highly. I’m sure it would be very good. Just...
Read moreI went on a Thursday, the time was 6:45pm when I arrived and I was ready to make the first impression of the establishment that would be remembered until either senile or death removed it from my memory. Fast forward... Wow! The wings were huge and highly delicious! I was thoroughly impressed! It's rare you find great wings that size, price, and delicious. I sat at the bar and watched a game on one massive flat screen television in front of me, the place was packed perfectly with multitudes of flat screen TVs. The bar tender kindly obliged me when I asked if the TV in front of me could switch to an eagles game I wanted to watch since I hadn't got my cable set up yet since moving to the area, I thought, The Sandwich Factory would have the channel I'm sure, and I'll watch it there. The bar atmosphere was pleasant and easy going, everyone there was enjoying their wings one order at a time. Friendly patrons that made this party of one feel like one of them right away. I quickly was in a few pleasant conversations with some fine patrons that sat near me at the bar and relished in the fact when we couldn't speak because our order of wings came and were being enjoyed. One at a time though we extended our ears and listened to the patron who waits sitting near for his time to come when he can devour a dozen or so, they're good sized too at the Sandwich Factory. All in all, just the way chicken wings are meant to be enjoyed, half the priced, and $2 yuengling drafts. The size of the wings combined with half priced and absolutely flavorful, but lacking the heat if you're looking for the burning flavor I love in wings. I still rank them high in Lancaster county without having the heat, top 10 maybe if the wings remain the same as I had them. My wallets weight seemingly hadn't changed even though I paid with it's cash, and leaving the Sandwich Factory stuffed to the gills, I left with an above fine experience in my mind of my first time I dined inside The Sandwich Factory in Neffsville, Pennsylvania.
(Find the restaurant with the highest stars for their chicken wings and if they're close by I'll be there right upon top that little dot that Google maps says...
