Nice trail hike. Moderate. Some spots are a tad hilly. My trouble was with the signage and trail maps. They are very confusing and not intuitive. It’s hard to get lost, however because they all loop back around, but there were times when the map (I took a picture of it) was either clearly wrong or didn’t include a walking path that was there in the woods. Also, some paths didn’t have a color code at all. Some suggestions: 1-they should rework the map to clearly define the trails on it and even include side trails so as not to confuse people. 2-include the Boettcher House on the map (this would go a long way I think. I’m not from around here so I was unfamiliar with road names). 3-include a few signs that say “back to Boettcher House”. 4-include the entrance road, parking areas and bathrooms on the map. The bathrooms are nowhere close...

Absolutely gorgeous! BUT near constantly bombarded with off leash dogs. Extremely unsafe and unfortunately there is no animal control in this area and the police are too busy to walk the park every now and again to keep things under control. It really is a pity that such a beautiful and lovely walking place is ruined by people who cannot see beyond themselves to leash their dogs so the rest of the community can enjoy the area uninterrupted. There are people who have very bad allergies, who need their service dog focused on them, who are injured, or have injured or scared dogs themselves. Not leashing your dog is selfish and puts all those...

5/25 edit: Pretty little park; it would be great if all the trails were mulched. There should be clear signage and speed bumps to protect hikers in the parking lot. Not really sure how they'd prevent this, but there are people who park in the lower lot and use a sandy area as an ashtray. Gross, dangerous (fire risk) and illegal.

I'm happy to say they now have dog waste receptacles and have made a concerted effort to keep trash...

First time here....several areas to park close to the 3 trails- red, yellow, and blue. Trails are marked but can be confusing (ex: you'll come to an intersection where the blue trail.goes 3 different ways). Most of trail is typical woods, but some parts are mulched nicely to prevent overly muddy situation. Is a cute little wooded park close to Route 30 and 283.

The trails are perfect for kids. Low grade, short, and covered. The marker signs and blazing are color coded. Perfect for little ones navigating. Thankfully we went on a day not many people were around. Barely saw anyone on the trails themselves, however someone did have an off leash dog in the parking lot.

First time here. On the smaller side but there is a labyrinth of trails so you have plenty to choose from and mix and match. The wooded area also connects up with paved trails that link to residential areas. Great for biking hiking, walking. Fairly quiet on the wooded areas.
