Stopped for lunch while traveling down I-95. Bojangles is about a mile off the interstate, so not the most convenient option, but we chose that because it's consistently a favorite. Unfortunately this location was a disappointment. The line was moving exceptionally slowly, seemingly due to food not coming quickly enough from the kitchen. I will say that our cashier, (Hannah, according to the receipt), was polite and professional and seemed to be pitching in wherever she was needed between customers. That's really the only positive thing I have to say. There were only about three other folks in the dining room when we arrived, yet we got what appeared to be the last clean table. When we went to get our sweet tea (one of the reasons we love Bojangles) the drink dispensers were bone dry. I spent several minutes in line again waiting to have my tea filled from the drive through dispenser. I reported the dispensers being empty. During the rest of the time we were there (20-30 more minutes) the tea was not refilled. There were also no forks (they did bring some forks out while we were there). It was right at lunch time, a lot of folks were starting to come in, and there appeared to be adequate staffing.....but most of the employees did not seem to have any hustle about them. My chicken tenders were cold. My daughter's biscuit had a hair in it. (Not "on" it....."in" it.) Despite my having let them know that there were no more clean tables, nobody came and bussed tables. I ended up clearing and wiping down our table plus five more before I left since there were still throngs of guests coming through the door who would need somewhere to sit. I know this is not the standard for Bojangles, and we will not stop enjoying the franchise. But we would not recommend this location and I would hope some changes are made in the management and execution of tasks. No excuse to not be prepared for the lunch hour on a...
Read moreWe didn't wait that long, though the young couple behind us waited at least 20mins and didn't complained time. Our biscuits definitely weren't fresh and the blueberry bo-biscuit was saturated in icing and really hard. There was a gentleman (wearing a Bojangles shirt), guessing he was the possibly the DM, sitting on his laptop at a table. There was a lady that appeared out of nowhere with a blue shirt on that began shouting orders and berating someone in the back. She stated, "Did you hear me? Am I speaking German?" She continued to be loud while barking orders. Not sure if that's just her demeanor or mgmt style or possibly for the gentleman at the table to hear that she's in charge. I've been in mgmt for almost 40 yrs and I've seen this style numerous times prevent it doesn't last. Attrition is high and morale is low. I'm not sure if I was questioning her lack of leadership skills or the gentleman allowing it to happen. I was tempted to speak with the gentleman, but my wife said to just let it be. We have stopped at this location once before, while passing through, but didn't expertise behavior. Wish your...
Read morethis is more than likely the last time i will be going to this store. i have had bad experiences with fast food and i have worked in the industry as well so i know its not an easy job at times. however, i have been to this location about 6 or 7 times now, far in between visits, and absolutely every single time i have gone to this store my order is either wrong or incomplete. today marked the end of my association with this store. i always place a very simple order : 12 pcs. family meal. cole slaw , mashed potatoes, mac and cheese. not a hard thing to remember (its on the menu). yet i seam to always have an issue with the order, this time the cole slaw wasn't there. last time the biscuits were not in the box. other times they didn't give us all the chicken we ordered . mashed potatoes were cold. i can understand there being an issue here and there but every single time we have an issue with this store. the sad thing is we were the only ones in the drive through there was no rush for this mistake to happen this last time. 2004 Paxville Hwy, Manning, SC 29102 . this store is officially off my list of...
