Caster's at Bell's Marina has reopened its doors! It feels like our little town got a real treat with all the fantastic new updates. The place looks absolutely great, and it has this wonderful, cozy atmosphere that just makes you feel right at home. It's the perfect spot for a family dinner or just a casual meal out. Well, at least they have DUKES mayo and not that other mayo-like-stuff. That would have been worth 5 stars if everything else hadn't turned my stomach. We watched our server empty the counter trashcan and replace the liner, go through the swinging kitchen doors and grab orders, then open each bathroom door for a quick inspection, and dart back into the kitchen for more orders. Not once did she stop to wash her hands. Not after touching the trash can or the bathrooms. I'm sorry, but that's just nasty, lazy, and careless! The food - which was eaten ONLY from the side the server's hand didn't touch? Portions are generous, if edible. However, my near flavorless burger was dripping blood tinged grease and juice, and the fries were over seasoned... maybe to make up for the burger.
