We visited Marley's Jr. for the first and last time. We had high expectations for the new restaurant but we had a very bad experience. There were 3 tables before us and the service was very slow, I ordered some pancakes with lemon and ricotta cheese and I have never seen such ricotta. The table next to us arrived before us and they were served much later, the same table complained about the poor pancakes with ricotta cheese and that lady's had blueberries on top which I wonder why mine didn't come with them? Are they racist? I am Latina and my husband is American. The prices were very high for the small portions and on disposable plates, my husband had to serve us coffee because the waitress didn't have the time to bring it, nor did she ever ask us if we wanted something else, something that didn't make sense were 4 people in charge of the cash register and only one waitress. In other words: Terrible service, they don't offer what it says on the menu, disposable plates and they didn't have singles to give change. ...

We ordered the typical Taylor ham and cheese sandwich on a round roll, but we also got egg on both of them. (Not on our order).Three counter people were standing around talking to each other while there were people waiting. The Cook in the back was cursing loudly, probably over the fact that the other Cook or his replacement for the day called in sick.He abruptly cut off all breakfast orders loudly. We may have caught them at bad time, but the customer always comes first. Especially, if you want them to come back. Food was a bit pricey, but what isn’t nowadays? So at this point will give them two stars, but we will return and give them another chance. Since it’s a new operation certain things need to be ironed out and we most certainly want to give them...

While the food was not bad, I cannot say it was above and beyond. I also understand that things everywhere are expensive, but I think the prices here are a bit much. For 2 people to order a dozen wings each, with a side of fries and 2 waters, the total came out to just over $51 dollars before tip. I could not help but feel taken back by the total as I have always seen Marleys as a very fair priced place that served excellent food with phenomenal service. Possibly the fairest in the region at one point.
All in all, dining in is nothing special, but it surely offers a tastey takeout option for the area, no complaints there. However, be prepared to spend a bit of extra change before stopping by or calling...
