Dairy Land — Restaurant in Mansfield

As I read through these reviews, it's apparent that some people don't realize that that this is a cook to order restaurant quite naturally you're going to wait a little longer for your food unless you want food, that' is half done. Nowadays with the cost of living the way it is you're going to pay a little extra for quality. If you want the cheap stuff, go to a cheap restaurant. My family loves Dairyland my work-family loves Dairyland and we will continue to order from them. The only thing that would make it a little better for myself and my work family is if they had delivery lol. With all the road construction right now, it makes it hard for me to get there on my lunch break to pick up food and trust me my work family misses it!!!! My wife and I have been going here for over 10yrs. for awesome food and milk shakes (the best around). But after the past few years of new ownership, things have went way down hill here. Tonight I was waited on quick as usual, but ended up waiting also 55 minutes for our order, which parking lot was not even 1/2 full. Got home with our order which is literally a 3 minute drive on Longview and our food was Luke warm. After spending over $22 w/o tip for 2 regular sandwiches and 2 small sides, we have decided that we will go elsewhere for this kind of dinner. And as usual just like last year still no prices on their menu board as well. People like to know what prices are before they make any purchases. I've grown up eating Dairyland over 3 decades. Unfortunately, since the new owners I've noticed slowly things have changed. We use to absolutely love the Coneys, Sloppy Joes and Crinkle fries! The Coney sauce is nowhere near as good, hotdogs are different and the fries are overcooked and larger than the old fries. Also, why do you no longer display your prices on the menu board? Is this because you can now raise prices with the intentions of customers not noticing? Just seems like every year you get further away from the great food and fair prices that Dairyland use to be. The one thing that hasn't changed is the very friendly hard working employees that provide great service! I'm not doing this to make you look bad..
