Shamrock Tavern — Restaurant in Manton

Very dissappointed. We have a cabin in Manton and I bring 3 buddies up to golf once a year. The last 2 years we have stopped for lunch at the Shamrock. Very good service and good food. However after golfing all day Saturday we stopped in for Dinner and some beers. Seemed to be alot of locals at the bar but the tables were empty. We were not greeted with a hello, what can I get you, or anything else. We waited quite a while and finally got the girl behind the bar to acknowledge us. She took our beer order from behind the bar. Got our drinks and left them sitting at the bar. We waited a few minutes. Then my buddy walked up to get them ourselves. She then says you can't take them to the table without a tab. My buddy irritated pays for the 4 beers and come sits down. We then were told we could only order Fried food. No burgers. 10 minutes later they are cooking a burger for a to go order. A couple more guys come in. Very loud and obnoxious. I get it that it's a bar but no one wants to listen to that. They all sat at the bar. So we finished our beer and was never asked if we would like another. Absolutely nothing. Worst service I have ever seen. Or non service. We were planning on eating and drinking for a few hours. My husband left his jacket there. We called to let Bernie know that it was a Luger by the pool table. She went and looked and foundit. we told her we would be on our way to come get it now. When we got there she told us that she had went through the pockets. Said she was looking for possibly a wallet is he whose it was. Only reason she knew it was there is because they called and informed her.so no need for her to go to pocket we told her we were coming to get it one of our vape pens that we had bought the day...

Lived in Manton for a spell, separated from my wife in Chicago - Felt like the folks at the "rock" were my second family and I always stop by if I'm in the area. Bar food done really well not to mention the friendly atmosphere and affordable drinks.
