Honestly food is very basic, you can definitely make it at home Went twice today first time staff unfriendly definitely didnt feel welcome. Waiter didn't wear mask half the time, gave us jelly off another table that had just left, when I returned 30 mins later with my man they were very rude went off on me for moving a chair I literally sat in the same spot and she told me i shouldn't of sat there before, it must have been a mistake, other waiter asked my man while he was seated where his mask was. I had my mask on he had his in his pocket just funny cause when I was there 30 mins prior they werent wearing one themselves serving us so why the attitude? We decided to walk out they didnt seem welcoming at all ! Went to m grill 22 12 mins away and they were much friendlier and better option of food too. I honestly feel this place won't change there ways I've been here plenty times before we have property 5 mins away and they have always had attitude seems they dont like serving anyone unless their regulars. Definitely won't be back anymore, I'll drive an extra 12 mins for better...
Read moreI grew up on the Hilliard acres. Not far from this lovely little family owned restaurant. I grew up in this restaurant my first job as a dishwasher in this restaurant. I have nothing but wonderful memories of all of the people that work there all of the people from the community that I love and miss! Ken Hilliard was well known regular in restaurant and with the butcher God rest his soak. He Gilles our outside freezer one cow and you have all kinds of stakes hamburger and so on for a year, with inflation I think the old time butcher shops should come back like we had in the day because you buy one cow at the fair there’s your money for a year it would save a lot of money. Anyway I have so many memories of this place I couldn’t even tell you the joy it brought into my life everyone there I still know how to cook a pancake because of the chef teaching me wait for all the bubbles to come up then flip it over lol I love and miss you all, I just Love this place!!!!! Grew up on Hilliard farm and miss it...
Read moreMany others have said this but the food was very very bland and basic.... I could have just stayed home and cooked something better for cheaper. It was a 50 min wait and we wouldn't have minded the wait if the food had been good. I ordered corn beef hash it literally is the corn beef and hash you buy from the grocery store in the can. My husband had hash browns that were only warmed up his egg had a crunchy grease skirt and never once were we asked if we would like refills (my husband had coffee and every so often someone walks around with two coffee pots and fills everyone cup who is having coffee) will not be coming here again and would not recommend unless your starving or are fine with low grade food...
