Monie's — Restaurant in Maple Plain

There are dive bars and then this place that is the lowest of the low. I went there as others have claimed this a great local hangout/dive bar that also serves food other than the usual frozen pizza that typical fare in a dive bar. But from the moment I walked , my appetite quickly faded as the smell of would describe as beer and urine overtook my senses. The place is cluttered and dirty. This place does NOT know what Customer Service means! They're rude on the phone & rude in person. If you're not a regular you get ignored. They can't take a to-go order unless they make it immediately when you call it in - even if you won't be there for 30 min. I ordered Asian chicken wraps & got Chicken Caesar wraps. They were the skinniest wraps I've ever seen - flat as a pancake with a little bit of chicken inside. The place is filthy. We went out with our neighbors and we're there to judge a Chili Contest and we had a blast!! The chili was good and the contest winners even got trophies for first through third place!! We hardly go there because we stay at home people, but if we go out to a bar it's Monies our local place in Maple Plain. It's a fun place to go with fun people.
