The pretzel! Perhaps this simple dish has deep roots to its Bavarian origination. Sourdough, salt, hand needed, a twist and some time baking in the oven. Some would say it’s the simple things in life that are the most enjoyable. A salty crust with a warm fresh soft bread centered. A little dip in some mustard or melter cheese and your on your way to pretzel heaven. Hand crafted pretzels are to some a work of art for most a great snack or appetizer. A pretzel you can trust is always a must try. In some cultures picking up the entire thing and eating it like a slice of pizza or a sandwich while in others the traditional approach is to break it and only pick up one small piece at at time. The appetizer approach is perhaps the better way to share this dish, especially when dipping in sauce. Some find dipping in sauce to be something done for a one bite only experience when done with a no double dipping standard. Need I mention that double dipping is a taboo in American culture and shove avoided unless on a date with someone you’re intimate with. The pretzel has many allures in its majestic knot bread thing.

Decided to try this place as I have been seeing it packed every time I attend an event at the Pentagon. Atmosphere was nice walking in. Like an upscale sports bar. We ordered 2 top shelf Margaritas to start along with appetizer of a Giant pretzel. It was served with a side of some sort of pepper jack cheese queso and a cinnamon caramel dip. We also ordered an app of Chislic. The pretzel was good. Comes out hanging on a giant wooden frame. Chislic was good but lacked seasoning. Then came the entrees of Margarheta Flatbread and a Mess with Me smash burger with jalapeños and black aioli sauce. My burger was excellent. A little small but very tasty. Flatbread was decent. No complaints. Bottom line, food was decent and about what I expected at a sports bar. Definitely will come back. Our server Daytona was good. As usual, not as talkative as I prefer but no complaints. I like chatty waitresses with personality. Makes for a more fun experience. Drinks were strong and made well. My preference would be to give this place a 3.5 star but since I can't, I'll give a 4.

This is a really cool place, prices are pretty typical, and the food is good, but we had a few issues with service. Seems like they don't have it working very well yet. The room we were in was 62 degrees, even though the thermostat was set to 75. Our appetizer was forgotten until we asked and came when our meals did, our waters and sodas were seldom refilled, and one of our group of six got the wrong order. Our server was very nice and personable, but maybe a little overwhelmed. We all expect it will get better, if management does a good job training and maybe hires some more help.

Please read full review!!!! Been there once before a concert and was less than impressed with food and service but did not spur me to write a poor review. Tell we went back today for a work Christmas party. Had a party of twelve so called ahead for reservation. When the first person in our party arrived they had no reservation on the books. Which they were able to seat us so again no big deal. We ordered appetizer and drinks. Then ordered our meals food came out and they had messed a Co workers order which she sent back.... again a hiccup with a party of 12 to be expected. They did not serve my meal I thought it would be out in a minute. They came back with co workers correct order. To which than I asked if my food was coming also. The waitress said just be a minute. She came back 5 minutes later and said the kitchen missed my order and would rush it. About 10 minutes later she came out with a wrap when I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich!!! I told her it was the wrong meal and she offered to remake at this time our group had almost finished their meals and asked her to make it to go. Well about 20 minutes later after the large group more than ready to leave they finally brought my order felt like I was keeping everyone in my group. The server was apologetic. I was understanding given how much went wrong. I know what Covid has done to the service industry, but I just feel like there was no rush to make it right. Needless to say I didn't eat with my party chicken sandwich was ok figuring I ate it cold. I will not be returning and will have party's else where next time. If going to a concert or event at the pentagon drive the few miles to different place couldn't imagine the service when they are busy. Also no visit from the manager. I...

Looked like a nice place walking in, we were excited that we may have found a new spot. Then proceeded to get the worst and most pathetic service I have legitimately ever had as soon as we sat down. Servers name was Clowey. Took our drink orders and left. 45 minutes later I asked if we could please get those drinks we ordered almost an hour ago and place an order for an appetizer. She snapped "I'll get to you when I get to you." Then didn't bring all of our drinks 15 minutes later when she returned and did not ask for an order. When she walked past us again I asked if she was coming back any time soon and asked if there is a problem and she turned red, mumbled something, turned around and when another server asked what the problem could possibly be she just snapped "I don't want them torwards us." Literally what did we do? We were patient with you and you chose to be a joke. We Requested the manager when she had time from a bartender and somehow unsurprisingly the bartender complained about it being busy and to learn some patients. We have been waiting over an hour for her to just take our order, what do you mean be patient? We were initially happy to be as we understand you guys can be very busy, but I really hope you two learn how to do your job one day. Just really trashy and sad reactions. Manager came to our table and was very polite, professional, and seemed almost expecting of said individuals. We just thanked her for her time, apologized for her inconvenience and few poor staff members and went on our way. I really wish this was a better experience but comically poor staff chose to prove otherwise. I hope they are re-trained and can one day learn some manners...

We were invited to supper with Tom Miranda at Blue Rock in Sioux Falls on Friday night 7.27.24. Much to my very disappointment! There were 12 of us at a table. Our waitress...Elizabeth tried her hardest to be on top of things. She ordered drinks when we asked...that wasn't terrible but could have been better staffed for a Friday night. We ordered and our meal came in 2 orders at a time appropriately 20 minutes apart...needless to say unsatisfactory! I have worked in several establishments over my years and NEVER EVER would this be expected or acceptable! I talked to the manager for several minutes about our experience and how it was unexceptiable to say the least! When I asked the manager what he felt he should do for our unfavorable experience he said what do you want me to do??? I said nope buddy I want you to tell me what you want do to do for me to be a repeat customer...he said I can't do anything....mmm not a good answer! Needless to say I let the manager in on a bit of info...we had a celebrity with us ( whom paid the bill) the manager did not even care to ask anything about that either... I WILL NEVER GO SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN!!! Elizabeth you tried your hardest...my advice to you is you need to be letting the bar know that you need your drinks timely& you need to tell that kitchen staff, they need to get your orders out timely!!! Be stern but encouraging at the same time...I know you have to give the kitchen a portion of your tip sooo make them work as...
