This is an amazingly great place - not just for a town like Marceline - but anywhere. I’m pretty picky when it comes to American-Mexican vs. Mexican-Mexican, and while Los Chimas tilts toward the former, there are enough elements of the latter to make me happy. Like having rabanos y cilantro available for tacos and such, and not blinking when asked for them. The drinks look amazing (our friends had them - we didn’t) and everyone in our party of 8 was very happy with their entrees. Since at the time of this writing we're currently in a pandemic, we called our order in for pickup. We were blown away by how good the food was! I ordered the the carne asada burrito and the wife got the picante tacos. Each comes with a side of rice and beans. It was so good we came back the next day and ordered the exact same thing. Honestly being from Colorado, I grew up with great Mexican food so wasn't expecting a lot from this place. However I was incredibly surprised. These tacos were outstanding. The service was good. I would recommend stopping in here for a meal.
