Update * I believe the owner meant what he wrote about addressing the friendliness of the staff because there has been a complete turnaround since my first visit. The dark haired counter girl is always so sweet every time I stop by for a danish. Speaking of danishes—I have found my go-to menu item and it’s the almond croissant. 🥐 It’s as close to perfection as you can get! Not too heavy with just enough to crave a sweet tooth. All of the pastries I’ve tried have been wonderful! They offer to warm them for you—and there is just something about warm bread in the morning. 💕
Stopped by for a late brunch. The French speaking man at the front counter was very friendly, however the other staff were not as welcoming. This is a seat yourself establishment where you are asked to tip on a kiosk before ever receiving your order. I still don’t understand this concept. I ordered pancakes with a side of fresh fruit. The pancakes were so n the dry side. I loved they served the syrup warm. No water was offered to me, so I had to go back up to the counter and ask. The table next to me had a turkey sandwich that looked really good as well as a side of potatoes. I’ll come back another day and give lunch a try. I wasn’t wowed, but I really think I should’ve just ordered something different. It is really nice to have a brunch spot on this side of...
Read more1st visit - I’ll be back! My Cortado was awesome! Taste on par with Rev Coffee In Smyrna based off of 1st visit. I’ll be back to confirm.. I live close and sometimes I’d go to MCC, but for flavor of the beans, I’ll spend 20 minutes to drive to Rev. I may not need to go to Rev, and I’m not a hater of MCC, but as long as Cafe Clement is here, I don’t know why I’d go there again…. except maybe if I had a hankering for “Brain Fuel”. I didn’t look to see if Cafe Clement has an MCT butter coffee option.
I didn’t get actual food, but what I saw on peoples plates, I’ll be back for lunch… later this week for sure.
2nd visit - this time I ordered breakfast. One of my ADHD super powers is I can read really fast, the problem is I skip words. I read an omelette with some veggies for $13 -it seemed slightly pricey but everything has been going up for a while now. I went for it. What I got was a full plate! The veggies was some sort of Caesar like salad! It came with this super yummy baguette with some whipped butter and dipping jelly. It was a fantastic. A pleasant surprise to someone that doesn’t read all the details. Usually for me that means I end up with some fake processed cheese or accidentally...
Read moreThis cute cafe is like a breath of fresh air. Super inviting decor, great offerings and an elevated vibe. I decided to order a vanilla latte to see how it would turn out and they absolutely delivered! I loved the professionalism that the staff showed during my time here, and I can see the entire experience is focused on customer service. They asked for my name, so when my order was ready, I picked it up. This made it more personalized, which is something I can appreciate! I then walked over to where they had the lids, but because my cup was filled to the top, I walked slowly over. Now, you know coffee is good if you don't need to add anything to it and let me tell you, that coffee was so aromatic and flavorful, it blew my taste buds away. Upon first sip, I could truly taste the flavor of the beans, and with the vanilla, it just took it to the next level. It was so good, I didn't even need to add honey and I enjoyed every drop! This coffee shop truly focuses on the coffee itself and any aficionado can appreciate that. I will definitely have to return to try the food, but if you love a high quality coffee with complexity and simplicity, you will truly enjoy this cafe with its...
