WARNING! DON'T DO ITTTTT!!!!!! The food isn't terrible I suppose, although it is extremely overpriced. I'm reducing to one star because I'm sick of dealing with the guy who works here. He has such a bad attitude every time I pick up my order. Today, I walked in and patiently waited for TEN MINUTES without anyone acknowledging me, shouting from the back, poking a head out, etc. I can see my order sitting there just out of reach the whole time, getting cold. After a few minutes, I said, "hello??" and proceed to say it louder and louder. Opened and closed the door a few times. No bell, nothing. I understand he's a one-man-show and busy. At least give me a shout from the back or something. I could hear him chopping veggies. If you can't afford a second employee, at least run out and hand me my $30 order! Eventually, the rude man came out to hand me my order that was sitting there the whole time. I tried to make light of the situation and said, "maybe you should get a bell for your door," with a friendly smile. He responds with a stern, "no need!" and walks back into the kitchen. Oh, and to top it off, he called BeyondMenu and LIED to them saying that he discussed with me that all drums is an extra $1 and to modify my order total. (I set it straight and they adjusted it back.) Your food is mediocre and your prices are outrageous, Buddy. You can't afford to be rude to customers on a Tuesday when you're super slow anyways. Let me know when you change your business name to Mr. Jerk. It's more fitting. People, read the reviews and learn from our terrible experiences. Find somewhere else...
Read moreTheir Singapore noodles are the only Singapore noodles that I order from take-out anymore. Why? They have huge portions and even better customer service. For instance - they always follow the delivery instructions and their management/employee work ethic is unparalleled. What really made me cement them in my mind as my one and only go-to place was the events from last night:
I tried to order from them via Grubhub, got the confirmation that my food was being prepared (yay!), then immediately got a call from Grubhub's customer support to let me know that, unfortunately, my order had to be cancelled due to their lack of a delivery driver. I understand that sometimes businesses get short-staffed -- I work in customer service too! It happens to the best of us. Anyways, I decided to utilize my rainy day in today and try to order from them again. They were super fast in their delivery (not kidding, my fiance and I watched the delivery guy run to our door) and as soon as we accepted the food, he apologized profusely for their inability to deliver to me the night prior. I assured him that it was fine, you just can't control everything, and he went along on his way. Now, that may not seem like a lot to anyone else, but just having them apologize for an error that was completely out of their control and then quickly deliver great, piping hot food? Sign me the hell up. Love Mr. Wok, love their portion sizes, and love their prices. And the cherry on top has to be their staff. I wouldn't (and I won't) recommend any other Chinese take-out place...
Read moreThey honestly don't even deserve a one star.. they really get a BIG 0% .... Not only am I a Chef and have worked in food service /customer service for over 15 years ... I asked the lady if I could get my food a certain way and when it came it wasn't the way I wanted it .. at the time I was dealing with my sick baby who has cancer .. and they knocked at the door I grabbed the food and payed the guy when I finally went to eat my food I realized that they didn't put my broccoli on the side like I asked... I then called had to argue with the lady for 10 mins then the man came on the phone for about 10 mins.. they then proceed to come to my house with no food and tell me there not giving me my money back when I asked them over the phone if they can't make it the way I ordered it OR if they could just give me my money back ... I didn't receive either ...when the man came I was touching the broccoli and he told me not to touch it like they were gonna serve the food they gave me to someone else ..BLACK PEOPLE DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE .. THESE AISAN PEOPLE DO NOT RESPECT US OR OUR BUSINESS WE SPEND MONEY WITH THEM FAITHFULLY FROM OUR NAILS TO OUR HAIR TO OUR FOOD ... PLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY...
