Best maintenance ever. I came in early yesterday to have “A” service on my tractor. They took me in at 6am this morning. Such great communication by the shop on updating drivers on status of their service. It’s about 6 pm now and I know the service is done as the shop guy stated it was done several hours ago. Shop guy states they will call me when I can get the truck. They close around midnight. Maybe they can let me sit in driver lounge a few more hours so that I can catch up on more cartoons. Some say they hold drivers hostage but I say it’s not like fraud by the maintenance group to get more hours so they can have a bigger paycheck. I appreciate it as I never get to spend lots of money on expensive vending machine junk. Driver’s lounges are so comfortable at Crete. Nothing better and opportunity to make so many new driver friends in the lounge especially the great stories from those that have been here several days to get their trucks fixed. Great times. Up until working at this terminal I had a good experience working for Crete. Unfortunately that all changed the day of the great American eclipse. I was treated so unprofessionally and so poorly by my dispatcher that day that I quit days thereafter. I got to my appointment early but the vendor didn’t have me on the schedule. I spent ALL DAY in the parking lot making calls repeatedly to dispatch and getting no answers, no new appointment, no information at all. I had planned on watching the eclipse that day with my wife but Crete stole this very rare astronomical occurrence from being enjoyed by me and my family through extreme incompetence....

This is a pretty good terminal as well. Larger then the other terminals. Plenty of parking space and most of the terminal is paved. They only have 3 washers and 3 dryers at this spot. There is a wing restaurant and Chinese restaurant 😋 down the street. There is a waffle 🧇 house 🏠 too down the other end of the street. The only thing I don't like about this terminal is they don't have single bathrooms. I mean a bathroom 🚻with a shower 🚿 🛁sink and toilet 🚽 in one room. It's a group bathrooms. And I don't like using the toilet 🚽 while other people are in the...
