Okayyyy so allow me to first say....I have been a huge fan of Night Owl pizza. All previous orders had done well with meeting expectations regarding food & service. While visiting with a friend and discussing food options, I bragged & bosted about the delicious pizza and cookies Night Owl serves. At 7:19pm, while tending to other matters & listening to my recommendations, our delivery order for a large pizza and 1 - 1/2 cookies was placed $36.01 & yes, we were told delivery would take an hour, although according to GPS, our location was only 5 minutes from the pizza establishment. But okay, as I explained this pizza and cookie experience was well worth both the price and wait. At 8:07pm, upon completing our work and hungry bellies abound, I placed a call to Night Owl to ask if we could come over and pick up our order. The young lady taking the call seemed at first to have trouble comprehending the request. After stating several times "I am 5 minutes away" and being place on hold we were told our order was out for delivery already. So we continued our wait. At 8:28pm, I received a phone call from the delivery driver asking if the street address was DR or PKWY? This truly socks because when the order was placed over the telephone I specified that detail, stated the name of the business & stated being ONLY 5 minutes away. The delivery driver received the clarity he needed then stated he would arrive in 10 minutes. At 8:39pm the delivery driver phoned as he pulled up to the front door for our delivery. Our pizza was somewhere between being warm/cold. Not that cold pizza isn't good but nothing beats the enjoyment of a hot fresh pizza pie with melty cheese and hot bread. The 1/2 dozen cookies were a bit hard and appeared burnt. Needless to say my proclomation of Night Owl having the best pizza & fresh delicious cookies in GA was not supported by what was delivered and no one was impressed with the pizza or cookies. This was a costly waste of $36.01 and super emotional as I listened to comments about how not impressive the food was.
I tried snapping photos of the cookies to show how burnt they were.
Really dissatisfied & disappointed in Night Owl on the last...

I did get my refund, but I will certainly not take my chances again with these folks. The young lady that I spoke to a couple times did apologize so that's a plus. It was her first week on the job.
If I could give this place a negative star review, I definitely would. My family and I attended the Braves game last night. There was a Night Owl Pizza postcard left at my hotel room when we returned. We were hungry so I placed an online order. That was at 11:53. Once the order was placed, a message came up that it would be delivered in 65 minutes. There should be notifications on the website if there will be long waits for food in case you don't want to wait that long. So at 12:59 I called to check the status of my order. The lady told me the driver had just left with it. At 1:43, I called again since I hadn't received my order. The lady told me she would call the driver. A couple minutes later she came back on the phone and told me the driver said he had delivered my order. I told her not to me he hadn't. Then she says the driver is standing next to her and he said he delivered my order. I again told her not to me he hadn't. So did she call him or was he standing next to her. Then I told her I wanted a refund and she said she would issue one. Then almost immediately she said she would have to have a manager's approval to issue a refund. I was told the manager will return on Monday so we'll see if I get my refund. You would expect if the driver delivered the order to me, he would be able to describe where the order was delivered and the person he delivered it to. Long story short, DO NOT waste your time and money ordering from these folks. You may not...
Read moreCame to pick up a doordash order last night- won't ever do that again. Said it was "store policy" to tell/have drivers confirm prior to leaving the store. No problem, but you should give them enough time to confirm the order on their own before you're harassing them. When you tell someone to confirm the order PRIOR TO THEM EVEN REACHING FOR THE FOOD AND THEN STANDING OVER THE FOOD seems like you're accusing someone of stealing. Store policy is fine, but let's give dashers a few minutes to do so, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY AREN'T EVEN REACHING FOR THE FOOD to confirm.
UPDATE: they replied to my review and it seems they didn't read my full review or are just ignorant. they state they aren't accusing someone of stealing but then proceed to say this policy prevents people from stealing. they state they aren't accusing people of stealing but COMPLETELY IGNORED my part of my review that states their policy is fine, but now it's looking a little racist when again, I'm being harassed to confirm an order and I'M NOWHERE NEAR THE FOOD AND NOT REACHING FOR IT. "This policy was provided by doordash as a solution" The steakhouses aren't harassing me to confirm. The sushi spots aren't harassing me to confirm. Juicy crab isn't harassing me to confirm, ETC. But a pizza joint is harassing me to confirm, because I'm black, they've never seen me before and and assume I'm going to steal...
