I consider myself a regular to Legacy Links and Fox Creek. I end up playing at these brother courses once or twice a month. I typically enjoy the course and the welcoming staff. The course is great for beginners and working on short game. I played here today (8/20/23 11:30am Tee Time) with two of my friends who are getting into golf. By hole 4, we had to wait for the group in front of us to tee off and a single behind us had caught up. Once cleared by the group in front, we teeād off, drove to the green, and told the single to tee off since he was already on the tee box, thinking he could play through us. The ranger drove up SCREAMING at us, stating āDo you not know how golf works!?ā and that we were all supposed to tee up together, even though we were in separate groups. We tried to explain that to him but he just yelled that the single was actually in our group. We were never informed of that when we teeād off on Hole 1. He continued by blaming us for ājammingā up players behind us but there were in fact two other groups directly in front of us that we had to wait for multiple times. I understand encouraging quicker pace and giving tips as a ranger, but his explosion was irrational and made our group, the single, and others around very uncomfortable. This is not what any golf player should experience, no matter the skill level. 5/5 rating for the course and staff. 0/5 rating...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLegacy and Fox Creek are great places to practice, and are great for beginners. Serious players will be frustrated playing here. The greens are maintained better then they were a few years ago, but have weeds growing on them. In the winter, it's better because it's cold. In the summer the greens grow out like a 70's bush. But the people that play golf here SUCK SO BAD! I'm not a pro by any means, but I was almost hit 3 times on the front 9 alone, to finally realize these people couldn't hit you on purpose if they tried. REGARDLESS, its dangerous for that reason. And two of those times almost getting hit NO ONE said "FORE". I also think $45 for a round of golf at either of these courses is a bit of a rip off. Dogwood in Austell is a full size, big boy course, and it costs that much too. These are a Par-3 and Executive style courses, not full size. Shouldn't have full size prices. I tried booking a tee time but in the winter, if you call after 5 they won't be there even though their voicemail says they're open until 7pm. So it left me to book a tee time on-line and and that cost me an extra $8 because you can't book anywhere else. I called 4 times, two days in a row between 5 & 5:30 and no one was there to answer to set...

This was a very nice course. I brought my friend out for his birthday and we enjoyed most of this course. We had a great time. But the problem was that our cart died after the 11th hole, so we sat for 10-15 minutes waiting for them to bring us a new cart. Instead of bringing 2 golf carts and having one employee push the dead cart while the other steered it back, they brought one cart and had one of us steer it back. One of us stayed and waited for the new cart while the other was helping bring the dead one back. Then after another 10-15 minutes we were back to playing. But after we finished 4 holes, with 3 more to play, they told us they were closed and had to come back without being able to finish. It was unprofessional in my opinion and couldāve been avoided by a little bit of thought. I hope others enjoy this course but I will...
