Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Marion Township

Okay I don’t usually post a negative experience but this was a bit different. The food was “off” and trust me, I eat Skyline like three times a week so I’m pretty versed. My boyfriend actually ordered a second meal hoping it would taste better than the deluxe burrito did. The hot sauce was fermented and tasted really bad. Then when we were cashing out, this blonde girl who I guess was a manager completely interrupted the gal at the register cashing us out by basically asking her all these questions in a really rude way in front of us. We had a very long and tiring day fixing the car and wanted nothing more than to sit in a warm dining room be served quickly. We were the only customers there since it was quite late. Having worked in the restaurant business for 20 years, we hated to go in so late because we know that 30 minutes before closing, you just want to close up and go home. But Hailey, our server, was very gracious and friendly and we didn't feel rushed at all. We told her about our long day and how hungry we were, and she brought our conies right out so we could get started before our other food was ready. the staff is lacking professionalism in food service hospitality industry. Last thing I want to hear while I try and eat my food is someone barfing or making inappropriate sounds from the kitchen. Food was dry it’s pretty bad when the fires were better then the 3 way. Still don’t see management or leadership stepping in teach or redirect the employees in a positive manner. Just because your dinning room is empty and you only have a few people eating doesn’t mean you can act inappropriately especially for a business. I probably will never come back inside if I chose to eat skyline or I may have to drive out of my way for an environment that will be more inviting to actually eat in at a...
