Mi Morelia Marion — Restaurant in Marion

Took my son to Mi Pueblito’s for his birthday. I was greeted with a friendly enthusiastic smile and voice from a male server 👍🏽. However once seated. We were quickly forgot about. We had to request the courtesy basket of nachos and salsa. Server left so quickly we were unable to add the usual cheese dip. My son ordered a dinner entree. And I ordered a chimichanga dinner entree. Our orders were brought out on two very small platters. My son’s entree came with no bean and rice sides. My entree came with two small chimichangas about the size of egg rolls with sides of rice, beans, and lettuce. The entree size is a disappointment to the dinner entree. The chimichangas are less than spectacular. Small bits of beef mixed with beans. Mi Peublito’s serves a cheap chimichanga which is really, a bean egg roll. Chimichangas are giant tortillas filled with hamburger. And NOT Bean burritos. Seems like they looking for ways to budgetize food expense. These entrees ruined my sons birthday dinner. I wanted to take him to an elegant dinner with large entrees. Were his belly is full. And his eyes wowed by the appearance of the food. We really enjoy this restaurant but the past few times we have ordered Togo we our orders have been messed up. Last week my husband ordered steak & chicken fajitas and he was given Texas fajitas (he's allergic to shrimp). Today we did another mobile order got all the way back home and our order was messed up again. We live 20 minutes away so by the time we get back from there to fix our order the rest of our food is cold. I understand we should check before we leave but we shouldn't have to. They were great at fixing the order but they require us to bring the plate that is messed up to them (like we are lying) & then have to wait for them to fix even when we call that we are headed there to fix it.

Overall the food is great, price is a little high, but they need to double check the call in orders before it is packaged. I will continue to eat there but my husband on the hand is aggravated & stated...

If I could put zero stars, I would. Wait staff extremely rude, food took over an hour and our order was wrong. Chicken burrito didn’t have chicken, asked for sliced avocado and got guac. Asked for romaine lettuce and got sautéed spinach. Burrito wasn’t even folded, just had a tortilla laying on top of the filling. Asked for extra cheese for a meal and got charged $1.75 and $5 for a bowl of queso, totaling $6.75 for extra cheese. ACP was served on a salad plate, super small serving. When we asked the front about the extra charges, they tried to tell us to look at the menu better while ordering. They did take the burrito off eventually seeing as how I didn’t eat it, but it was still $70 for 3 people so it’s not even cheap. $55 after taking the burrito off.
