Subway — Restaurant in Marion

I will start off my saying, I never leave negative reviews & tried to find out who the owner was to contact them privately but, couldn't find that information.

We went in today & the customer service was terrible. First off, one of the girls was taking a selfie behind the counter when we walked in. My son ordered his 12" sandwich and replied "no" when asked if he wanted it toasted. I ordered two more sandwiches and told her the first one wasn't toasted the the 2nd one was. She relayed that the 12" was supposed to be toasted to the 2nd girl behind the counter - before she put it in the toaster I told her that one wasn't supposed to be toasted. The lady who took my order tried arguing with me and told me it was supposed to be toasted to which I said "no, you asked him & he said no". The two making the sandwiches both turned pissy and the girl adding the toppings to mine started throwing the toppings on to my sandwich. After she was done with mine I told her the other two just needed mayo & when the mayo container ran out she threw it to the back counter/sink & almost hit her co-worker running the register (who turned around to grab something) in the face. Then my son went to eat his sandwich and the 12" wasn't cut because the girl was too worried about being rude and pissy that she forgot to cut it. It was one of the worst displays of customer service I've seen. I won't ever be visiting this...

Ordered a Phillies cheesesteak… The meat was grind up roast beef with obviously a little water added into it and it could’ve been put on the bread with an ice cream scoop. It was so pate like the chicken one we ordered was the same thing look like it had put in a blender and then spread on the sandwich… Our restaurants in Marion are very important to us… We don’t want to see one fail, but obviously, they are losing a lot of money on meat and are trying to come up with a better way to stretch the profit and losses… This is not the way to do it… Meat needs to look like slices of meat not chub… The young lady that waited on us was great. I would just worry that the older people are not coming in for sandwiches that look like they’re filled with potted meat… Maybe take this into consideration if your sales Continue to drop or if you get any other complaints, pacifically regarding your rate… It’s also odd that they’ve covered up the meat display so your customers can’t see it… I would love for Subway to be around for a long, long time…...

Honestly 2 stars is being nice. The store was dirty. The staff was very rude and seemed like they didn't even know how to ring up properly. None of the staff were wearing masks. Was hoping the food would be the saving grace, sadly i was mistaken. Bread seemed stale and crusty in ways you dont want your bread to be crusty. The meat just had a slight "off" taste. It definitely didn't taste like fresh turkey. Adding everything together i figured it was safer to throw my food away than risk getting sick. All in all. I wont go back. Good...
