You gotta visit this place!! Such a unique concept in the middle of small town Kansas! Thanks to this well traveled couple, Marion has one of the coolest lunch stops in the state. The food truck sits by the street and is the stationary kitchen and the newly built "shed" next to it houses a small bar-style indoor seating area. There's plenty of room, comfortable seating, a full selection of beers, canned seltzer, soda, it's air conditioned and full service! The menu is a collection of street tacos, nachos, wraps and even sliders. We loved the Tetris shaped tater tots! The owners are friendly and the small town keeps a slow but steady trickle of guests coming thru the doors. The day we stopped they had funny videos playing up on the wall, we had Coors banquet, Mich ultra and Kona Big Wave, the old school tacos, and one of each of the street tacos (chicken, beef, fried shrimp and Thai pork) plus we had to try his sliders! There are vegan and kid options. They also have a mobile unit, so look for Tacos Food Truck at your next festival or event... or request their presence for next time! We will definitely make the hour drive to come...
Read moreThe food here would have been better had they not burnt their tortilla chips to the point of breaking your teeth. The tortilla chips were also over salted. It was $44 just for 3 people to eat nachos and a pork wrap. I can buy enough food for 6 people for them to eat BBQ pork nachos for at least 3 days for that price and all they have to do is buy shredded pork (microwaveable tastes home cooked),Blanco queso Velveeta, tamed pickled jalapeño peppers, cantina thins tostitos tortilla chips, head country brand sweet and sticky bbq sauce, cooked bacon( that you'll have to actually cook at home) and anything else you might want to cook to make them your own homestyle nachos. All which can be bought at Carlsons grocery right there in Marion. I wish yall the best to waste your money! ;-) oh by the way...most of the food I mentioned is microwaveable so it only takes 1 min or less to have a snack, lunch, or dinner for $5 or less depending on how many times you make it. The unit price gets cheaper the more you...
Read moreWe absolutely love coming to That One Place. The food is so good. It’s big city taste in a small community which is such a treat to have here. We never leave hungry as the food is just the right portions and the nachos could feed a small army! The atmosphere is welcoming and very inviting. They are so accommodating to everyone, especially those who have very particular ways they want their order. Their prices are very competitive, the food is outstanding and they keep their mouth watering staples on the menu, but surprise us occasionally with chicken fried steak dinners or yummy beefsteak and chicken sandwiches. It’s pleasantly different than other eating establishments nearby which makes it a great dining destination. Josh and Allison have done a terrific job keeping our tastebuds satisfied and we feel blessed to have them in our...
