Stopped by for a quick brunch expecting a typical deli sandwich experience. Ended up being blown away by the quality of the food here. The bread on the Eggcited sandwich was fresh, soft, and just the right amount of chewy, with a nice thick layer of fluffy eggs, cheese and pork roll. The Bulls Eye had a delicious seeded roll, also supremely fresh (crisp crunchy crust that hadn't sat all day to get hard and rough, with a balanced light/chewy bready inside), layered right: with their refreshing and zingy horseradish aioli/mayo spread on the bread (to keep the moisture of the tomato/lettuce from seeping into the bread), tomato, lettuce, and a generous helping of their juicy roast beef. All in all a very well balanced sandwich that felt light and refreshing, yet substantial enough to carry me through the day. The sfogliatella!!! When I say the CRUNCH on this bad boy. Ones I've had in the past are crispy, sure, but you can tell the moisture of the filling is starting to leech into the layers and soften them up by the time they get to you. Not so for Guzzo's pastry. It seemed like I could hear every layer crackle as I bit down - eating this was a real auditory experience. All in all this place nails it on both the sandwich and bakery departments. The baker even told us about the 80 year heritage of the place, and how the recipes were passed down from his grandfather. Definitely a hidden gem of the area - I'll be coming here whenever I pass by!

Great place for some amazing sandwiches and/or some coffee with a good variety of bakery items. The owners of Guzzo’s trusted me to paint their windows for the holidays and throughout the process of doing so I was treated like family. Everyone working there does a great job of making you feel welcome. And the food is outstanding. I highly recommend the potato eggwich and a turkey and bacon sandwich! Once you try this place, I guarantee you’ll be back. Check them out! Thanks again Guzzo family, I hope everyone loves the paintings :)

Amazing bakery... Originally... we stopped by for a few Cannoli. Instead, I left with... Coffee, Hot doughnuts, Killer breakfast sandwich, a Lobster tail, tons of Cookies, hot French bread, Hot brioche, eclairs, and we bought out all their large CANNOLI! By far the best! IF YOU DON'T COME HERE, YOU WILL MISS OUT! Lastly, the staff was extremely helpful and all my compliments to Nick!

Had the pleasure of stopping by Guzzo's Cafe on Easter Sunday 2023. The gentleman at the register was super attentive, friendly, and welcoming. I ended up purchasing 2 items. Some almond Paste cookies, and a whole Cheesecake.

The almond paste cookies were on POINT! Super moist and full of almond flavor. Not super sweet which i appreciated and made for an excellent gluten free alternative.

The cheesecake truly was delicious. It was creamy and moist without being too dense and hard. i appreciated the depth of flavors and the fact that it did not feel overwhelmingly sweet.

That being said, my only complaint with the cheesecake was the fact that it still had quite a few chunks of raw cream cheese that were not thoroughly blended well. My only critique would be to make sure the raw materials are blended a little better to avoid chunks of cream cheese ending up in the final product.

Despite that small issue, will giving this bakery a 5, as the service was great, the staff super accommodating , and the products still delicious.

Will definitely stop by again to explore other delicious items...

I normally don't complain about local businesses but I was really disappointed on my experience on Christmas Eve. I've always bought bread and had breakfast at your store and never had any issues. On Christmas Eve I was preparing to buy desserts for a family gathering. I bought the usual cookies and a cheese Cake . I get to the register and was told a small cheesecake was $35?? I had to buy it because the family wanted it, but price gouging people on the holidays is not slightly cool . To make the experience even worse, people who tried it took a bite and left it on the plate. More than one person said it tastes sour and a refrigerated taste. Not a good...
