Whatever they serve, this thing is not pizza: it's flatbread with lots of toppings, some conventional, some out of the ordinary. Apparently lots of people like that stuff, so more power to them. And they also like the fact that the pizza is not brought to the table but you have to pick it up at the counter, more or less like in the burger joint you used to hang out in in high school. And they must also like the paper plates, the most basic and cheapest kind. Silverware, if you really really want it, is plasticware: careful not to cut the pie too vigurously or you will go throught the paperplate and start scratching the table's polyuretane surface. Even the most enthousiastic patrons probably don't...

I was told over the phone that they wouldn’t accept a phone order for pickup, but if I came there and placed an order they’d be happy to make it to go. So an establishment called “Pizzapalooza” wants me to place an order in person and wait 30+ minutes during a pandemic while my order is being prepared for the purpose of what? Exposing myself to as many potential coronavirus threats as possible? Other establishments in the area provide online ordering and are taking COVID precautions. The establishment sits in a popular tourist destination where visitors from every state accumulate. This is their policy to order a couple menu pizzas during a pandemic? Irresponsible, inconvenient,...

If you are, as I am, partial to flavorful thin crust pizza that does not have an excessive amount of cheese, this is the place for you. There are, as usual, plenty of options, but I tried plain, plain with mushrooms and pizza fungus and they were delicious. Not super dougy and generously sized. A moderate number of beers on tap. There are other items on the menu, but I haven't tried them. I expect that they too are well prepared. Lots of parking, plenty of room inside and outdoor seating with a spectacular view overlooking miles of rolling hills.

One caution - be careful of the turn in when approaching from the east. It comes up quickly and...

Our pizza was delicious, subtle hints of a real fire oven baked pizza. We will absolutely be back. Cathy and Liz were prompt, professional and fun, they were both super helpful and patient as I figured out my pizza ingredients lol. A few of the patrons had their dogs with them, I was well taken care of lol. It’s such a warm atmosphere that it really feels like what home was always meant to be. Makes me wish I had more time, instead of having to “carry out”.. I will absolutely be back. You should stop in, it will be time well spent.

UPDATE: They still haven't figured out to cook the bottom of the pizza making it a soggy undercooked mess. The woodfired pizza has very good flavors: cheese, sauce and dough. The char is a plus, but they undercook the pizza so the bottom is never fully cooked. Once they perfect that and get the floor of the oven hotter, they will have an excellent product! Fun times: music, beer and pizza! Beer Naked Brewery is operating with very good beer. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. BRING CASH - although there is an ATM on site.
